THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE! complete analysis... quotes included, better pay attention

If we had made ourself perfectly clear that Eto'o was not for sale or that he could only leave for a very high price, we'd have sold him for 30mils at least. Instead MM described the Anzhi offer as "valuable and intelligent" publicly (inter.it) and right in the moment when nothing was agreed. That's when we already lost this whole Eto'o poker. So now the numbers are going down from 30mils to 27mils to 21mils and then he costs as much as he earns in a year.
[/COLOR]6 million difference are indeed not much of a difference if you take into consideration that it's the same difference of Eto'o's price and PSG's demanded price for Milito.............
:|
Agree... I smell something rotten... why would Moratti do such a mistake? EXCEPT.. they did like I use to FORCE in FM: bid a ridiculous sum, let's say 40m for Eto'o. Moratti accepts it :eek:blivious: so they can talk to the player. They lure him away with 7m SIGNING FEE, 20m wage/season, etc. etc. THEN cancel the initial bid of 40m and come back with a shitty 21m. Player already made up his mind, you have to sell him?!?!?...

Russians are not arabs! Arabs don't give a flying fuck of their money, but russians are clever and sometimes use unorthodox methods... So it's one thing not to manage to milk the russians, and other to GET ROBBED  21m even in POUNDS it's a fuckin` STEAL for Eto'o! He's 30 years old ffs, not 32!!!

21 M€ cash :eek:blivious:
Even if he's 30 yrs old, don't tell me that Pastore, Caroll or Falcao are worth twice as much as IL GRANDE LEONE, the best striker in the world? :palm::palm::palm::palm::palm::palm::palm::palm::palm: And we refuse 15 M€ for Milito?
what an embarassment...fuck that deal...
Good luck Samuel, it's not your fault if our management sucks...
The price is really depressing, especially regarding the other recent transfer sums and asking prices!!
Regarding Milito's offer, I think INTER were ready to sell [even if Eto'o was sold] because of his advancing years and high wages, but I think it was Milito who rejected the deal... I can't blame him!

21m? That price cannot be real. Bargain of the CENTURY if true.
Fixed.

If 21m€ turns out to be true, it is a massive fail. MASSIVE.

But I don't believe it. It was so widely reported that the formula will be 25m€ + 2m€ bonuses.
Yeah, whatever... IMO 25m is also quite a FAIL! But yeah, that's just me, "the Eto'o hater". :work:

What we have done here is thrown away THE BEST STRIKER IN WORLD FOOTBALL atm for a price that can hardly get you half a decent player in today's market. In the future when we look up the term "FUCK UPS" in the dictionary, it will explain it by using this whole Eto'o scenario as an example!
I'm with black on this one, totally supporting his opinion on this matter. I can't think of why we made this... If you want to sell a player like Eto'o better sqeeze the fuck out of the deal or sell him next year! 30 or 31 is kinda same shit, you can get a better deal the next year from Man City or something!!!!! :rollani: and don't you tell me that INTER suddenly can't afford 1 year of Eto'o's contract!

Moratti pulled the plug on the club. He achieved his objective in CL win and now the club is on its own. You may deny it but its there for everybody to see. The Eto deal is just a start of whats coming.
Unfortunately it seems like this. Maybe he thinks there is no need to risk the future of the cub, because Barca are too strong in Europe, while in Italy you can pull off a Scudetto with Forlan, too. Sad but could be the reality. Plus, another reason could be saving for a brand new Stadium... but these are other discussions...

Some sites are saying he has become the best paid sportsperson...Is that true? I thought those lazy baseball & football players make a lot more/year.(Endorsements aside; just salary)

Now I want somebody from that fucking office to come out & do a press conference, clarifying the situation about WTF just went on! There are so many questions left open, which the management should give an answer too.

Just toss it out the window why don't we. Look guys! I love this club but more and more signs seem to point out that MM does not have the same hunger to win anymore. FFP my ass if all these stupid numbers that are being circulated around are true.

I read a press-conference from anzhi press-attache.
He said
1.) Eto'o signed his contract after passing his medical. So it's official (he's gonna have number 99)
2.) He said that both sides didn't want to openly name the transfer fee involved, but told that 16, 18 or 20 millions is plain bullshit and too far from real life.

I believe it's 25-28, somewhere between...

I was hoping for at least 30 :( At least i hope its not below 25, or it would be the biggest fail of all time. Except the way we got him.

Samu was only with us for 2 seasons :( And we had such a good thing going. Outrageous that his Inter career was cut short like this.

Very bad for us from a footballing point of view, and financially it's not great either. Come on think about it, we just sold the current BEST STRIKER IN THE WORLD for 21-28 mil. I don't care what you say about age or freed up wages, 35 mil should have been the minimum.

Have we become such a desperate club? Or do MM, Branca and co really know what they're doing? Only time will tell I guess, but these are sad days..

Eto'o: "I want to thank so many people and especially Moratti. I'll be brief even if you can only say the best things of this world about him. What I am saying is that if there is a God on earth, it's Moratti. Thank you for the support and the opportunity that you gave me to play in the best club in Italy. What did I said to him before leaving for Anzhi? It is something between me and the president and I don't want to make it public."

"Mourinho? Jose is one of the great coaches. When a person knows him and is not influenced by what written about him, he is very special. What I want to say to him is that thank you very much because he gave me the opportunity to discuss technical issues which was one of the best things that was given to me."

that's going a little too far, but the fact he was an important player during the treble season means he will always have an important place in Inter's history

In terms of play on the pitch, definitely an over-statement.

However, his under-valuation combined with Ibra's over-valuation was the centerpiece of a mercato that led to the greatest season in our club's history. There's an argument to be made, IMO...
