Eto'o means black African. Which Rijkaard or Gullit are not.

Dinho was ready to walk off with him but Riijkaard and ref stopped him. Barca won the game 2-0 with Eto'o getting an assist for the second. He was booed for the rest of the game sadly. In the end Zaragoza were fined 6000 Euros for their trouble smh. Interesting Milito, playing for Zaragoza at the time, criticized Etoo for over exaggerating, i kid you not lol.

I agree Rijkaard is not a top class coach. He failed miserably with Saudi Arabia and has been unemployed since 2013.

From the Treble Inter, I miss this guy this most in terms of playing ability. He was the only one who actually got better after Mou left. He was such a versatile forward. Not only went to the wing for the team with no hesitation, but was practically pushed at RB vs. Barca. And the second we put him up top alone he exploded.

Samuel retired yesterday. A pretty quiet thread for a Triplette and overall football legend. Dude has FOUR CL trophies. Two back-to-back Trebles. Hope he does well with whatever he now wants to do.

People are too busy sucking Icardis dick and guessing what the next episode on his soap opera will be to actually give credit to true champions that wore our colors.

I love this guy. He had the mentality of a fucking champion. When the going gets rough, guys like him shine even more.

Speaking about nostalgia and gratitude... not only a phenomenal player who still had enough hunger and motivation to serve the Greater Good of La Effecì Internazionale di Milano in the last months of the 2009/2010 season, but also a winner and a mental giant on the pitch.

The anecdote which was confirmed by Eto'o himself a couple of years ago, about Mourinho's decision to have him address the team and inspire many first-timers before the Champions League final (a real final, not one of the 11-12 so-called “finals” usually needed to save the season/qualify for a European competion), should always give us goosebumps: “... and now Samuel will tell us how we're going to win”.

Retired from what though, was he still playing?
Not sure, but he was "playing" for a Qatari team until last year. Maybe he decided to retire now, at the beginning of the season.

One of the best bussiness transactions that we've ever done. I still remember him scoring a screamer with his left foot against Rubin Kazan when we needed a win like yesterday.

Legendary Former Inter Striker Samuel Eto’o Launches A Music Career

Former Inter striker Samuel Eto’o has announced that he will be launching a new music career with a post on his Twitter page yesterday.

The 38-year-old Cameroonian, who retired from professional football earlier this year, will debut on 20th December in his first concert, at the Parc des Prices in Douala, Cameroon. He previously spent two seasons with the Nerazzurri, where he was one of the stars in Inter’s historic Treble winning campaign. Eto’o posted the announcement alongside the caption: “Does anyone say that Eto’o can’t? Absentees will be wrong… We’ll see.”
