At least he isn’t doubling down like the Balotelli/ cassano types would
He is AMF in 4231 formation. Can anyone clarify Esposito position? I'm being told he's now a midfielder, the Hakan role to be precise and strictly being told he is NOT a striker..
I haven't watched him because I don't rate him (sorry) so can anyone clarify this for me please?
So it is true, damn. And I really hope he doesn't have a discipline problem last thing we need.He is AMF in 4231 formation.
And looks like he have another problem
In a column published in today’s newspaper edition of Swiss outlet Blick, the former Switzerland international vented his fury at Esposito’s attitude during his loan spell, culminating in him liking a post on social media following the dismissal of Basel coach Patrick Rahmen.
Turkyilmaz argued that Esposito had let Inter down with his behaviour and that his approach would prevent him from fulfilling his potential, as he struggled for playing time at Basel.
“He should be ambassador of a great club like Inter, but instead of drawing attention to himself with his performances, he only makes the news with his escapades. This must stink for the management of the Nerazzurri,” Turkyilmaz suggested.
“Instead of ‘liking’ Rahmen’s dismissal, he should have been crying because his coach was forced to leave and he was unable to support him with good performances or the behaviour of a professional athlete.
“Believe me, I’ve never seen a coach not use a player who has excelled on the pitch, so the management will have their reasons for not picking him.”
Turkyilmaz, who was once Switzerland’s all-time record goalscorer, warned that Esposito’s attitude would prove costly and that he needed greater humility to accept he was playing in the Swiss league, and to prove himself good enough for Serie A.
“The boy is gifted, everybody knows that, but if you are not willing to do everything for this sport, then you will fail. If you come to Switzerland because you are obviously not good enough for Serie A, then the reaction should be one of humility. Don’t underestimate the league where you are sold to,” he added.
Esposito has made just 10 league appearances for Basel this season, scoring four goals.
Don't know if it's a waste really, Inter found out the kid maybe a basket case emotionally. Time to cut bait it seems. He scored four goals for Basel, and all of them before the calendar hit September. Another wasted loans due to injuries and maturity issues.
Nice finish
The goal, looks offside to me
