Gaston Camara a week ago. Even though Brescia exercised their buy option on him we triggered his buy-back clause only a day later.

Indeed, we are going to pay Cagliari to develop Miangue, and if he doesn't excel there, doesn't matter, he won't be our problem anymore

When's the last time we had a good one? Other then Balo who was a complete basket case

Selling youngsters while having buyback option is much better than just outright loaning them. Teams will more likely play them since they'll consider the player theirs. If they don't do good there, fine, not our problem. If they do good, we pay a bit extra and bring them back.

Miangue joins Standard Liege

Cagliari have officially announced that Senna Miangue has joined Standard Liege on a two-year loan with an option to buy.

The 21-year-old is a Belgian Under-21 international, and signed permanently for the Isolani last summer after an initial loan from Inter.

“Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of the player Senna Miangue to Standard Liege,” a statement on the Sardinian club’s website reads.

“The formula is a two-year loan with an option to buy for the Belgian club. Miangue, who joined the Rossoblu from Inter in January 2017, made 16 appearances over a season-and-a-half between the league and Coppa Italia.

“The club wishes Senna a big good luck for his new professional challenge, with one of Belgium’s most successful clubs.”
