The best thing is when Marotta enquired for Chiesa early in the summer the price was 90m with potential to find an agreement for 70m but for Juve the price is 50-60m. Anyway, I never wanted him at Inter so I couldn't care less about him and after getting Hakimi we don't even even need him. Chiesa and Juve are a perfect match.

It's quite normal the price comes down later. We chose Hakimi and that was the end of it. I wouldn't have taken Chiesa early in the summer for 50-60m€.

It's surely a reinforcement for them but not the value of that price. Even though it will be quite a favourable formula with a loan and payments obviously spread. I think it might be even with just an option but it's not set in stone yet.

I believe they're preparing themselves for life without Dybala. His contract expires in 2022, there are no rumors of a renewal being close and it was rumored Paratici wanted to replace Dybala with Chiesa a year ago.

bernadeschi, rugani are two really obvious and current shouts but theres loads more historically

Paqueta was 35m€, Piatek was 35m€ and I think they managed to avoid capital losses on those sales (though it's a bit hard to calculate half-years because I don't know how they amortize the book values). Given the buying prices were so high and how hard the players ended up being disappointments, impressive numbers.

Absolutely. Way too early to judge Maldini (and Boban ) yet but giving credit where it's due they've done very well with outbound transfers. While we're stuck loaning out cancers like Joao Mario and Dalbert year after year (or forcing good players like Godin to leave in order to cut costs), Milan have managed to very swiftly (and permanently) rid themselves of both Paqueta and Piatek for good prices.

Joining juve is a mandatory rite of passage which all Fiorentina starlets must undertake, similar to Dortmund and Bayern. Castrovilli next.

juve 2 - 0 Inter, goals from Chiesa and Kulusevski. You know it's coming. Probably throw in Darmian and Vidal own goals for good measure.

I was very fond of Chiesa 12-18 months back, but I don't think he is any great shakes now. 60m is too much for him.

The real gem Juve have got is Kulusevski. Others are okay. It'll be even better if all of these players are playing out of position in their 352.

Edit: Forgot to add, fuck Fiorentina. They have become one of my top hated clubs.

Nainggolan is leaving. If we can also sell Vecino, Mario and Asamoah, I suspect we will buy a midfielder - Kante or more likely Locatelli. At least this is what seems to be the plan based on rumours.

Chiesa could be an effective wingback under Pirlo. He was my second choice for that position after Hakimi. Obviously Hakimi at 40 is way better business than Chiesa at 60-- Hakimi seems to have a higher ceiling and more natural gifts.

I don't think Chiesa is what they really need though. They need a midfielder.

The "chiesa at forward" experiment last season was a total shit show, so if that's pirlo's and paratici's idea, then perfect imo.

I'll be quite happy with a good 3-5 years of Inter dominance in serie A.
