Atalanta doing such an amazing business, once again. They bought Romero for 17m€ from Juve.
Atalanta bought Romero from Paratici for 17m last season, and now they are selling him to Paratici for 55m. Atalanta's smartness here is inversely proportional to Paratici's :yao:

Why would Romero want to go to Tottenham?

Because there's still a lot of money to be made at Tottenham and playing in the Premier League. I don't like it any more than anybody else here does - I find Tottenham to be dreadfully boring in almost every way you can imagine, all the way down to their kits - but I also can't forget how the Zhangs were more than ready to make us Tottenham's financial bitch beginning next season and lasting until the end of our drug-shortened lives. For whatever reason, Tottenham is a bigger club than they have any business being considering they haven't won a top flight championship in the last 60 fucking years.

He may be the same person but I might say he is a different player. A much better one. And here is the merit of Atalanta!
Would have been the same if Real would have matched the rice of PSG for Hakimi.

I can't believe Romero is going for 55mil. This is from the club that wouldn't pay 40mil for Skriniar a year ago...
Well they have Paratici now :yao:
Atalanta’s asking price is €55m, while Tottenham offered €40m plus bonuses, according to TyC Sports in Argentina.
Please don`t forget that on paper, Romero is still owned by juBentus. Atalanta have an option to buy Romero, which they will most probably activate as soon as they agree a deal with Spurs.
So yeah, Paratici is still doing juBentus favors, as you can see. Furthermore, who do you think Atalanta are going to sign to replace Romero? My bet is Demiral.

Ilicic, 33, sees his contract expire in June 2022 and Atalanta have officially put him on the market.
According to Calciomercato.com, Ilicic wants to move to Milan, so much so he has offered his services to the Rossoneri, who don’t rule out a move for the Slovenian star. However, the Rossoneri’s priorities lie elsewhere. The likes of Nikola Vlasic and Julian Brandt are believed to be ahead of Ilicic in the pecking order, so Milan are not expected to make a formal offer to Atalanta in the coming weeks.

GdS: Sampdoria have sounded out both Andrea Conti and Mattia Caldara as they are not in Stefano Pioli’s plans for next season. Both players can leave the San Siro on loan and preliminary talks between the two clubs have already begun.

Napoli have confirmed their midfielder Diego Demme suffered a knee ligament injury during a friendly match against Pro Vercelli, so they are back in the market for a midfielder. Time to feed Spalletti Vecino!

Kaio Jorge signed for Juventus. He will join them in January.
Indeed, Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport report the Brazilian starlet has agreed personal terms with the Bianconeri.
This has been initially reported by Brazilian source UOL Esporte. They claim Santos striker Kaio Jorge has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus, valid from January 2022, cutting Milan and Benfica out.

The 19-year-old’s contract with Santos only runs to December 31, 2021, so he is technically able to negotiate with other clubs.

Milan had approached him and his club several weeks ago, agreeing personal terms and offering circa €3m for his transfer fee.

That is considerably less than the €10m Santos were asking for.

Today Sportitalia reported that Juventus had officially informed Santos that they wanted to negotiate personal terms with Kaio Jorge.

However, UOL Esporte go one further, insisting that today Kaio Jorge signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus that will be valid from January 2022.

That means he can join them as a free agent and will reject all other options, including Milan and Benfica.

The Portuguese side had gone a different way, approaching Santos with an offer of cash plus Gilberto to reach the €10m fee.

It seems as if Juve have not just intercepted Milan’s talks, but blown straight past them to get a pre-contract agreement with the Brazilian striker.

The report also states that Juve are ready to negotiate a small fee to get Kaio Jorge immediately, as they now hold all the cards with a signed pre-contract agreement.

Good enough for juBentus and milan, not worth an effort by us. Where is Branca with his Brazil trips when you need him :yao:

If his contract expiring at the end of this year, it means we or other clubs can already arrange an agreement with him for new club.

If there is no other club had made an agreement with him, I would think that he is not that good.
@cuba gooding is he good enough now?

There’s no chance some lunatic named Kaio Jorge will end up a top player. I bet he’ll be another Ganso or Kenedy
In the club`s current financial status, any plusvalenza is welcome. Quoted this for the years to come.

+ EDIT:
Sampdoria have officially appointed Daniele Faggiano as their new director of sport, moving Carlo Osti over to technical director. Faggiano had been in this role at Parma for four years (did a great job and he was linked to Inter), then had a very brief run working at Genoa from August to November 2020.

Marko Arnautovic has arrived in Bologna, where he was greeted by cheering fans with flags and fireworks.
The Austria international had agreed terms with the Serie A side weeks ago, but struggled to terminate his contract by mutual consent with Shanghai Port, previously known as Shanghai SIPG. The matter was eventually resolved when Bologna agreed to pay a €3m transfer fee to the Chinese club.

When Arnautovic arrived in Bologna, he was greeted by ultras cheering under his hotel. They already had a huge flag with the image of him wearing the Bologna jersey and were singing his name as he made his way through the crowd, so he held the banner up himself.

Marko Pjaca will sign for Torino tomorrow, making the move from Juventus on loan with option to buy, which could become an obligation after he has achieved a certain number of appearances for Toro. According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more, the deal has been done between the two rival clubs.

Roma have reportedly made an offer worth €15m for Uzbekistan international forward Eldor Shomurodov, but Genoa want €20m. The Rossoblu paid €7.5m to sign him from Russian club Rostov last summer and he made a big impact in his debut Serie A season. The 26-year-old scored eight goals and provided one assist in 31 top flight Italian appearances. I rate this guy, I believe Mourinho is picking the right man.
