fucking Italian press. Conte is not officially confirmed and they already linked Tottenham with Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni, Brozović, Barella and Lautaro :palm:.
They forgot to mention we will also sell Inter HQ, La Pinetina, our trophy cabinet and Zanetti. We would also sell our rights from the new stadium but they just built their own.

Conte is a done deal already so of course they are linking all kind of Italian based players to Spurs.

I can see Bastoni being really good in the premiership. Not so sure about de vrij or barella. Skriniar would be good too.

Remember what Beppe said 2 years ago: “My time in Turin gave me a lot, besides the bittersweet departure. I have maintained a good relationship with everybody except for Paratici, but it is more of a personal matter than a professional one”

I am not too worried about Paratici poaching Inter players. That will be done on Beppe's terms.

I am assuming the Eriksen insurance has been paid, and his salary is now off the books.

January transfer around the corner - Would we be interested in a cheeky bid for Zakaria?

Any other free agents?

I doubt we can get Zakaria. He's in a too much of a demand from the general market, Roma, Juve and probably Bayern as the usual one in Germany. And we can't decide anything before Brozovic thing is settled one way or another.

But there are other free agent options for sure, but for the summer. We gonna do some loan deals only this January and only if we let some players to leave, we don't have spots in our squad.

Just saw that Remo Freuler and Boga are also out of contracts in the summer 22. The latter is not quite fit for our system, but Freuler is good player, especially for free.

I like freuler, but signing players like him will take us to banter era part 2. We have enough average players as it is in centre mid.

Biga on the other hand, his unpredictablility could be nice but agree, don't think he suits.

I don't know really. I rate Freuler more than Gagliardinis and Vecinos, and I think he is something like cheaper version of Vidal - energetic, hard worker in the midfield. Definitely I'd take him, Instead to spend small fortune on someone like Nandez.

It's the atalanta factor. I'm sure if gasperini had gagliardini in his system gags would look just as good as freuler IMO

I'm not sure as Freuler is one of their most consistent and good midfielders. Considering that Vidal and Vecino will leave as well, I think it's worth a shot. We need a depth too and we don't have money. As I said earlier, I prefer Freuler for free, instead to buy some shithead for 20-25mln.

Lol, well if the choice is freuler or some shit head for 20m or so then yes freuler. I just feel we need better quality players than that.

You're arguing over Freuler in vain. Atalanta have exercised the option to extend his contract till 2023 and they're in discussions with the player to extend it even further.

The problem is that we don't have money enough to replace all outgoing players only with quality ones. I lost any hope that Brozo will renew, so with him, Vidal, Vecino and most probably Sensi, we'll have 4 players leaving with only Barella, 5G and Hakan remain. We need at least 3 mids more and minimum one of them should be top quality. I know that we cannot afford free agent like Pogba, so I'm hoping for Zakaria, Freuler, Isco (despite he does not fit so we'll) or somebody else cheap + one solid name if Marotta can spent some money.

That makes sense with all those outgoings. As long as he's depth, and not coming in as a starter, IMO

Please note that Jeremy Boga`s contract is expiring in 2023. He already asked to leave over the summer, but nobody came in with the €40m asking price.

Atalanta are again going for Jeremie Boga in January, but Roma, Milan and Napoli are also interested in the Sassuolo winger.

Tuttomercatoweb reports Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have contacted Sassuolo, willing to make an important economic effort to sign the Ivorian. But Sassuolo are, according to the report, asking for at least €25m.

PS: Slightly off-topic but generated a positive feeling while reading that Giuseppe Rossi is back in action and signed for Serie B side SPAL until June 2022. He is currently 34 years old and played for Genoa last time in Serie A.

FUN FACTs: Serie A’s best-paid players (source Calcio e Finanza)

Matthijs de Ligt €8m - his salary could raise to €12m-a-year with add-ons. Great work by Raiola here, everyone expects the club to sell him on after a few years

Christian Eriksen €7.5m - Inter are covering his salary through FIFA insurance

Paulo Dybala €7.3m - soon signing a new €8m-a-year deal with €2m add-ons
Aaron Ramsey €7m - what a waste LOL + JuBentus are playing 3M/year for his agents :yao: this is why they are desperate to get rid of him. Can you believe this shit? :awyeah:

Adrien Rabiot €7m - what a waste LOL

Zlatan Ibrahimovic €7m - will extend his contract with Milan, signing a new deal until June 2023, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. According to Le Parisien, Ibrahimovic was hoping to complete another return, this time to PSG, before agreeing to extend his contract at the Stadio San Siro. Before putting pen to paper on his latest contract extension, Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola contacted PSG to see if they were interested in re-signing the striker. Leonardo, though, turned down the opportunity.

Alexis Sanchez €7m - not for long IMO

Arturo Vidal €6.5m - there is an article in CalcioMercato that he started earning much more this season, check his thread.

Leonardo Bonucci €6.5m

Wojciech Szczęsny €6.5m

Lautaro Martinez €6m

Alex Sandro €6m

Kalidou Koulibaly €6m

This is a pathetic list....most of these names are being paid on form from three years ago.

Clubs need to revaluate the talent and clean up shop.
