This football farming is basically cheating.
There should be a regulation about this.

I mean depends....

with Man City potentially. Like what the owners of Udinese does not so much. They do it to develop players to make profit.

Man City can create a few super teams to feed their main super team. That could be an issue.

Like its a smaller owner but one of the biggest teams in Colombia Millonarios is owned by the owners of Lens in France. They also I think own a MLS team. They just loan the best players from the Colombian team and then don't buy them? I mean its like how does that not fk the teams financials? Like its not 1 bank account to transfer to another. I just don't get how that works.

Palermo would've been an elite feeder club a decade ago so I'm assuming City group think they can bring that back. Steep task in today's football world. Regardless I'd love for them to turn Palermo into a continual Serie A club. It's where my family is from so they've always been my second club.

Interesting. Would like to know why they picked Palermo of all Italian clubs.

Because Palermo is a huge football market, that's obvious enough.

City Group will just use Palermo as a developmental stepping stone, I don't think they'll be too interested in making them a top 4 contender. Probably something similar to what Redbull does with Leipzig, Salzburg, and NY. ManCity is the #1 team that will have its players developed at Palermo, and when they're old or simply not good enough they go to MLS.

Interesting video about City Football Group and Red Bull empire

So I remember seeing a discussion here that we have 15% transfer clause for Zaniolo. How about if it's a loan fee+obligation, will the loan fee be included in the 15% or do we only get the transfer part of the deal a.k.a the obligation?

If it's an obligation then the transfer value is loan + final fee. Inter gets 15% of that.
If it's only an option I am unsure.

If we were idiots, we didn't take the loaning into account in this resale-clause.

A bit the same as what happened with Lo Celso when he moved from Betis to Spurs. PSG had resale-clause but it didn't take into account the loan fee (16m) so Betis paid PSG only the cut calculated from the permanent transfer (32m).

Juve and Roma might screw us with the same way with some loan deal.

Although PSG took the case to FIFA and then Betis took the case to CAS. I couldn't find if there was a resolution already.

There should be a regulation about this.

When UEFA allowed RB Leipzig & RB Salzburg to compete in the same CL, they have set a dangerous precedent. This is sad and should be banned.

I'm ok with Barca & Real having b-teams in lower divisions, coz thats development. But those teams are not allowed promotion into La Liga, that is critical.
