Roma can never afford him next season. Also Winjaldum won't like to cancel his 5 year 10M€ net contract after 2 years, never gonna happen.

Only winners are Roma and the player. PSG will have him back. He's their Joao Mario.
Nothing compares to Joao Mario, I repeat nothing. 4th most expensive player in Inter’s history and absolutely awful but I guess he was better then mr. fieldgoal.

Nr. 5 Crespo, 6 Nainggolan and 7 Kondogbia was also well not exactly money well spend.

Inter’s success rate of plus 20m € players is like flipping a coin.

I can rember the year where we brought in wonder kid Coutinho (a player we already secured long before)… and awesome players like Nagatomo, Pazzini and Ranocchia this seem like a great market compared to that one and the one following it was even worse.

Also it still no worse then the one we had last year. Where we lost Hakimi and Lukaku, brought in players like Correa, Dzeko, Darmian, Dumfries and Hakan.

This year the biggest loss has been Perisic we brought in Lukaku, Aslani, Olana, Bellanova, Mkhitaryan. Not great but not hard finding seasons that make this one look great in comparison.
What's wrong with Dumfries and Hakan??

Darmian was in 2020 and was important for our Scudetto.

I didn’t write something where wrong with them I just listed the players

Darmian was bought last summer, first season was on loan.

Though there is apparently some clauses which makes the option an obligation for Roma AFAIK. Like if they make it to CL and the player plays 50% of the games.
What happens to an obligation if the player and the club can't agree on a contract? I'd imagine Roma will have to negotiate a new contract with Wijnaldum as this current one (psg paying 50% of his salary) is probably just applicable to his loan period

Its been better since Marotta arrived.

Lukaku
Eriksen
Lazaro
Barella
Sensi
Hakimi
Correa

Only Lazaro was a flop, maybe Correa. Eriksen & Sensi had health issues but were great deals otherwise. The 40m+ guys (Lukaku, Barella, Hakimi) have been brilliant deals.

Which is why its such a pity that Suning went skint when they did. With someone like Marotta in charge, if we had some money we could have created Il Grande Inter III.

Sensi was a flop no matter how you cut it. A player who spends more time on the treatment table then the pitch can not be considered a good transfer. Especially when you had the option to sign and not obligation.

Di Marzio said there's no clause that turns option into obligation.

Sensi was an option only on paper for FFP purposes. In reality it was an obligation and that's why they preferred our offer over Milan's who offered loan with option. They wanted his redemption to be guaranteed.

Politano was a similar case who was redeemed even though he was of no use to Conte.

Bremer, Cambiaso, and now Kostic... Juventus have just copy-pasted Inter`s wishlist but threw money at them.

* I know there are some nostalgic people that rate Keita Baldé > he is now a free player!

The 27-year-old striker has signed a one-year deal with an option to extend but will remain on a free transfer following Rosobol’s relegation to Serie B. This is due to a clause in his contract that is triggered in the event of Cagliari's relegation. 27 years old, should be a better sub than Caicedo, right?
His decision making is piss-poor, but he used to have good pace and atleticism. It seems that he might leave Serie A again with Galatasaray and Beşiktaş targeting him.

It’s not as positive as you paint it, sorry.

Marotta is also responsible for failure such as Nainggolan, Vrsaljko, Cedric, Keite Balde, Asamoah, Politano, Lazaro, Sensi, kolarov, Vidal, Sanchez and Correa since he took over in 2018.

Yes Martinez, Lukaku, De Vrij, Barella and Hakimi where successful trades but also not high risk and Lukaku and Hakimi was Conte we can thanks for that and not as much Marotta neither would ever have come had it not been for Conte. You can then add acceptable in Hakan, Dumfries in their first season.

Eriksen, Dzeko, Darmian has really been a mixed bag. Eriksen didn’t perform before the last half of that season and went on to be okay but never stellar, eventually got cardiac arrest with his national team and had to leave because of regulation regarding ICD, Dzeko had an okay first half season but then burned out, Darmian fine first season but been nowhere near that in his second.

Brazao, Agoume, Asslani, Bellanova, Onana, Mkhitaryan and Salcedo we all have to see how that turns out.

Hakimi had been followed by ausilio for 2 seasons long before Conte.

So we're walking to this Scudetto? It's that easy?

Don't have one.

See, this mofo as much as he can be dislikable understands the league and what you need very well. In a league mostly full of slowpokes, explosiveness is what we badly need as well, almost on every part of the pitch. And to begin with they are again better set in that department than we are in having leao, theo, tomori, origi, rebic when fit...

Inzaghi can come out and say that he also needs quick players, but it wont do shit, as the club has no money to get anyone. He was frustrated after the game with Lugano about the Bremer situation, so i am pretty sure he's not happy now... for fucks sake, the club doesnt even have a sponsor or a second jersey. This whole summer has been a giant failure.

Of course, you are stating the obvious here, everybody agrees with that, but even when we had money or money we v spent so far on players, or players we were rumored we wanted, didn't exactly gave me an impression that we are fully aware or conscious about this issue, at least not in a way that pioli and maldini are.

That "luck" that milan had last year is the consequence of leao and theo raping almost every other team with their speed and explosiveness. And then people go to transfermarkt, see their list of players and ours and scratch their heads on how we lost the title.
