I’d complain about us never getting this type of luck with EPL teams, but we did flog Lukaku for 110m euros.

The exception to the rule. There were so many cases of EPL teams refusing to satisfy Inter demands. Skriniar. Perisic. Ricky Alvarez.

Well they paid like 25m + bonuses for him AFAIK. So it's not like they are fleecing Leicester or anything.

95m. They paid 115 for him, but we found it too much for him that we decided to return back 20m of that a year later.

I mean technically 107 since the loan fee was 8 and we’re basically paying the same salary he was making before. It’s still a ridiculously high amount of money for Lukaku. Hopefully we’re not dumb enough to loan him again, but I could see us going for it if we can’t land Thuram (we won’t).

As mentioned above, we didn't pay 20m for the loan but 8m. +4m bonus if we win the Scudetto which is quite unlikely at this point. The rest of the cost is salary, that's not money which is paid to Chelsea by us.

And technicality-wise, we didn't get 115m because there was sell-on % to United + some development cost % paid back to Chelsea I believe.

I feel like a 5 year old with a pet turtle...... come on do something.... poking it with a stick :)

I mean I want us to sign someone but then again I am super scared of what trash we bring in.

Southampton have reportedly made an offer worth €11m for Lecce and Denmark midfielder Morten Hjulmand
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the proposal is bring given some serious consideration by the Serie A side.

It would represent a massive profit margin, considering Lecce only picked Hjulmand up from Austrian club Admira Wacker for just €170,000 in January 2021.

He helped the Salentini earn promotion by winning the Serie B title that season and they are doing well this term too, sitting comfortably mid-table.

So far in the current campaign, Hjulmand has contributed four assists in 17 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

Mentioning this because the captain of Lecce was linked to Inter not long ago.
Asked who his role model is, Hjulmand replied “Brozovic at Inter.”

“The way he plays with the ball at his feet is always a pleasure to watch, and he’s always close to his defenders as an option.”

In the normal financial situation he would be a good candidate to fill Gagliardinho`s role.

NAPOLI PROPOSAL FOR WOLVES STAR ADAMA TRAORE
Napoli are already looking to the future and there are reports of an initial approach for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacking winger Adama Traore.

The Partenopei are runaway Serie A leaders with a nine-point advantage over the chasing pack after thrashing Juventus 5-1 last week.

That is only increasing their ambitions and director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli is making plans to reinforce the squad next summer.

According to Sportitalia and Gazzetta dello Sport transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, one of those targets is Wolves attacking winger Adama Traore.

He turns 27 later this month and his contract is only valid until June 30, so he could be snapped up as a free agent.

Traore has not yet confirmed he will leave Wolves, but if he does, then Napoli have made known their proposal worth €2.5m per season plus another €0.5m in add-ons.

The Spain international would be seen as a replacement for Hirving Lozano, who is not part of Napoli’s future plans and will leave to avoid running down the contract to June 2024.

He'd be perfect for us with his speed, something we sorely lack obviously.

Not clubs Zaniolo wants to be associated with. Earlier linked to Juve.

I think Zaniolo has the same stupid " Im class player, almost as good as Messi" brain that Correa has which eventually cancels his chances of having a successful career and instead playing for grade B, C clubs .

No thanks. Give us that 15% so we can forget him and Radja.
