They are not winning Scudetto)
You would have said the same thing about their team that won it, or Piolis Milan... you dont know who is winning it. And all i said was that they will contend, which they will... and even if they dont win, so what, should every young player cry about leaving after he doesnt win every year??

He is not every player. Napoli will lose money if he runs down the contract. You can't forcibly keep the player against his wishes. It's economics. Watch somebody triggers his release clause and it is not 100 mil either.

Run down the contract? The guy has 3 years left on that contract. Napoli aint worried about that.

Again, does he have release or buyout clause? You don’t know, right?

He deserves Tottenham better than Aston Villa.

Good thing that Douglas Louis isnt coming (yet) to Rube.

Jubentus all clear for Douglas Luiz thanks to Barrenechea at Aston Villa

Jubentus are back on track to get Douglas Luiz imminently, as Weston McKennie was removed from the deal and Enzo Barrenechea has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa, joining Samuel Iling-Junior.

The transfer agreement had originally been done for Douglas Luiz to move to Turin in exchange for €20-25m cash plus McKennie and Iling-Junior.

However, that fell apart when McKennie blocked the whole affair, some report because he wanted compensation to leave Jube, others that his wage demands were too high for the Premier League side.

Regardless of the specific reason, the USMNT midfielder was holding everything up and with no progress, the clubs decided to excise him from the deal.

Barrenechea resolves Jubentus impasse for Douglas Luiz

Instead, Barrenechea was added in following his loan experience with Frosinone and the Argentine has quickly managed to agree personal terms with Aston Villa, reports Sportitalia chief transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà.

Barrenechea is valued at €25m including some difficult to achieve bonuses.
Now that's how you SELL deadwood!

His current market value is 7.5M according to transfermarkt and they are selling him for 25M AND selling McKennie to Spurs for the same money!!!!!
Sky Sport Italia suggested that Aston Villa had requested Matias Soule or Dean Huijsen in part-exchange instead, but they are valued at far more than Barrenechea and not even considered by Jubentus.

Now that this issue has been resolved, Douglas Luiz could complete his transfer to Jube within days.
This Giuntoli guy is even better than I thought.

Inter need to deal with Aston Villa ASAP

There is a big difference between a 30-35yo deadwood and 23yo deadwood.

Should I recall correctly we are able to sell many nobodies for 5m+ too, only because they are young. Barrenechea is a Serie A starter. His price is what we got for e.g. Pinamonti I would say.

Yeah wouldn't call Barrenechea deadwood at all. Pinamonti is a great comparison.

Pinamonti is striker, that dude is DC, strikers are usually much more expensive then DCs. If they managed to "sell that guy for 25M€" thats robbery.
But I don't belive in that. If they added that guy insteady Weston, I guess they had to add more cash.

I agree it's a robbery if they get 25M valuation for him. I also doubt it's like that but let's see. If it's 25M for Iling-Junior and 20M or something for Barrenechea and then 15M money on top, Juve will have 60M player on their balance sheet.

Milan act strange so far. They could have arranged Hummels for a replacement of Kear easily, but they passed. And now, while they are trying to reduce the fee of Kia from 15 to 10mln about the Zirgzee's deal, Man U showed up from nowhere , ready to hijack the deal.
