It's incredible no matter how many times they get caught they never learn. They just continue their shady tactics. Business as usual.
and Im sure the City non-ruling will further reinforce you can get away with it without issue.

Juve have lost absolutely nobody of quality/substance and signed damn near an entire new XI and coach. Obviously Juve have shady dealing with Serie A clubs but still. This fucking club could never.

The real problem is that they also started the season with 6 points.
You would expect clubs that change so much to suffer early season but it didn't happen

Tbh there shouldn't be any excuses for us to make a run again, at least for this season. We won a title last year with almost 20 points ahead of everyone, we didn't sell anybody, and we added some quality at the same time. Meanwhile, every one of our rivals had major changes, both players and coaches wise. I don't give a fuck about other team's mercato, if we lose a title this year, it's all on us.

We can't say we don't care about other teams mercato. Juve have spent 200m on transfers. They have gone all in this summer. Of course their management and media will say target is top 4 but reality is they have an obligation to win after this mercato. Else, it's gonna be a failure.

Of course juve has a responsibility to win something and fight for trophies this season. All i m saying is their project is in year one and ours is in year four, where you could say the team we have now is the strongest we had in these four years.

If a team with year one project and a new coach comes and wins a title immediately with everything I mentioned going our way, then I can't look at it any other way than failure on our part.

Our isn’t on year 4, more like on our year six now. Several of our starting 11 where brought in around Conte, changing coach doesn’t necessarily put things back at 0, especially as the following coach build on the system preceding him, the foundation was laid in the Conte area that has been build on.

De Vrij 2018
Martinez 2018 (starter in 2019)

Barella 2019
Bastoni 2019 effectively
Darmian 2020
Dimarco 2021 effectively
Dumfries 2021
Calhanoglu 2021
Acerbi 2022
Mkhitaryan 2022
Asllani 2022
Sommer 2023
Pavard 2023
Carlos Augusto 2023
Frattesi 2023
Thuram 2023
Bisseck 2023
Zielinski 2024
Taremi 2024

This is pretty much our wide rotation. If anything, it's tilting towards the last 2-3 seasons rather than 4-5. Half the main squad wasn't around in Inzaghi's first season for example.

If we isolate it to starters, apart from Bastoni and Dimarco that were integrated during and after Conte respectively but were already part of our roster, it's Barella, Darmian and Lautaro. We can add Bastoni, so that's 4/11 players from Conte's time as starters, and neither Bastoni nor Darmian were guaranteed starters under Conte. Bastoni became was a starting LCB in 2020-21 but in Conte's first season he didn't play in CL at all and in EL he only started in games after Serie A had ended. He became a starter over Godin in December of course, but he started in 20/38 games and didn't play at all in 13/38.

Sommer, Pavard, Thuram, Mkhitaryan and Acerbi only played 1 or 2 full seasons here. That's 5/11 starters.

Juve really going all in this summer. From their perspective anything less than the scudetto would be disappointing I’d assume. The lack of experience could be a deciding factor in the end as their manager and squad are on the youngish side.

New coach, new project, and a year one every time that happens. It's as simple as that. Every other way of looking at it is bullshit.

Case in point, the formation coaches use may be the same, but the players occupy completely different duties and spaces in inzaghi free flowing system compared to conte rigid one. And I could go on and on about other changes as well. So it's a year four of our project my dude...

Absolutely, the mercato has been insane in Italian standards and top4 is a bullshit target. Allegri did that twice (one was penalised) already.

I cannot help but feel that the we have missed the opportunity to consolidate, strengthen, and reload. And I am not sure if I am overreacting, but it kind of feels that we are an injury away from making things very difficult for ourselves, especially upfront. I am really disappointed that the likes of Correa and Arnutovic are going to be on our books. It really worries me, especially given that the former did not show up in France last year and the latter singlehandedly spurned every opportunity to sink our advancement in the Champions League last season. The worst part about having them on our books is that there will be times when Izaghi allows them to play. It does not sit well with me and makes me nervous.

I also feel that Oaktree have passively sat on their hands, in the knowledge that we won Serie A last season by a comfortable margin and there is little need to reinforce the squad. In football, nothing stands still or remains the same. Players get older and slow down and dominating repeats without new additions to the old guard are rare. Complacency and the hesitance of our ownership may well be our undoing this season.

100%. We need to have U23 Serie C team next summer. Juve and Atalanta are so far ahead, now Milan created it too.

Motta & Giuntoli are integrating / selling youth pretty decently too. They will pick the more better for themselves and sell the guys with ? marks for still good amount. All these sales have financed WC players like Luiz and Koop .

We have an aging and expensive squad and something needs to change in the coming years otherwise we will struggle.
we need that serie C team no matter what.
Motta & Giuntoli are pretty competent unfortunately

Hope the Juventus locker room implodes. How the fuck are they allowed to spend 200 M and we are still penny pinching on deals?
