Hope the Juventus locker room implodes. How the fuck are they allowed to spend 200 M and we are still penny pinching on deals?

We spent 58m on shit sadly

😂 is it just me or am I not alone in feeling strong ‘after the treble’ vibes at the way we’re watching everyone get stronger and we’re just relying on the old talent we had from last season?

Kossounou to Atalanta is an interesting one. Pre AFCON he was playing like a top cb. But in second round he was a disaster and eventually lost his starting spot and Alonso's trust. If Gasperini can bring him back to his prime he can easily be worth what Atalanta spent for him (and a lot more). It's an interesting gamble.

I expected him to end in EPL. This was under the radar.

I cannot help that the we have missed the opportunity to consolidate, strengthen, and reload. And I am not sure if I am overreacting, but it kind of feels that we are an injury away from making things very difficult for ourselves, especially upfront. I am really disappointed that the likes of Correa and Arnutovic are going to be on our books. It really worries me, especially given that the former did not show up in France last year and the latter singlehandedly spurned every opportunity to sink our advancement in the Champions League last season. The worst part about having them on our books is that there will be times when Izaghi allows them to play. It does not sit well with me and makes me nervous.

I also feel that Oaktree have passively sat on their hands, in the knowledge that we won Serie A last season by a comfortable margin and there is little need to reinforce the squad. In football, nothing stands still or remains the same and dominating repeats without some new additions to the guard are rare. Complacency and the hesitance of our ownership may well be our undoing this season.

Look it from the bright side - at least we managed to keep our core players despite a few panic situations (Hakan to Bayern and Lautaro contract).

Otherwise, I agree that failing to get rid of Correa and Arnautovic leaves a bad taste. Let's hope Taremi will step in when is needed.

@Materazzi_23 @RotterdamNerazzurri do you know that Ajax kid that Milan signed? Is he any good?
I’m sure Materazzi knows him better then me. But Vos was considered a big prospect in the youthranks of Ajax and was at quite a young age a regular starter for Jong Ajax at the second division.

Ajax have some financial difficulties atm. Vos earned 1 mln a year and Ajax had to cut costs. A lot of money for a player who isn’t a starter. Ajax thought they would get 10 mln for him, but Milan payed less than 5 mln. I would say it is a good gamble for that money. Most Ajax fans I know are really disapointed to lose Vos. Especially for this money.

On a sidenote; it’s rumoured Ajax needs to lose Brobbey, as they signed Weghorst and they can’t lose Akpom. Brobbey only wants a topclub (he rejected Notthingham for example). He is available on a discount. @Materazzi_23 surely you would like Brobbey as fourth forward?? 😂

Materazzi has always been a huge fan of Brobbey. He wanted him here even when he left Ajax for Leipzig.

He is talented for sure and I rather had him in the starting line up than a player like Mannsverk. Physically and technically strong, tactically not yet mature. And in the ''6'' position that is quite important. I only have doubts about his mentality, it seems that he is not always 100% focused and had problems on the physical level to go along with Farioli's ideas. Although I think that the sale is mainly due to the financial problems and not so much to his attitude. As my friend from Rotterdam already indicated, he was always a great talent.

I can't imagine that he will play in the starting line-up at Milan next season. And that is also his problem, he has to play a lot as soon as possible, so I wonder what Milan plans to do with him.

It would be a dream to see Brobbey in an Inter shirt although he is not yet ready to be a regular at Inter. If he is wise he will stay at Ajax for 2 more years, score a few goals at the 2026 World Cup and then leave for Inter for 40 million so he can replace Taremi. :D

They've paid quite a lot of money for Lukaku as well. Someone might argue over this, but the guy has been a waste of effort since he moved out of Inter (first time).

Don't have one.

Paying this much for Scott McTominay when you’re a Serie A club is crazy.
Roma fans are also guilty of that. Some people think that's harmless or even good, but I genuinely think it's not coincidence their supporters acting like that and at the same time those two clubs being known as two of the biggest loser clubs in the country.
