Giuntoli is undoubtedly a very sharp operator, however your job gets a lot easier when you are in charge of a club like Juventus who are happy to back you to revamp the entire squad over the course of just a couple of windows. Compare with Inter (and most other Serie A clubs) who can only do a few deals each summer to patch up what we have sold or what has gotten too old to continue.

I really doubt a La Liga regular would benefit from a starting spot at Serie-C level…. Maybe when he’s also getting regular time in our first team.
No worries, @Darth_Ausilio will sweettalk him into it 😅

Nobody expects an 18 year old kid to play in Acerbi's role straight away, right? He has to earn it. But he has to keep developing by regular playing time.

So Bah could actually find himself in a more favorable situation than Tomás Palacios.

On top of it they're giving him Skriniar that he had tried to get rid of when he was at Inter
The same Skriniar he benched for a washed Diego Godin.

Yeah Giuntoli made a great summer mercato with all that money. Over 50M Koopmeiners, 50M (on books) David Luiz. Kicking Chiesa out for very cheap, kicking captain out mid season, new coach getting less points than his criticized predecessor.

Giuntoli made some strange moves indeed. Altough in a handsight. Koopmeiners was considered one of the best midfielders in Serie A. Getting players from Atalanta is always a risk tho. Same for Luiz. A high profile midfielder from the PL.

Getting rid of Chiesa and Danilo on high wages isn’t the worst thing to do. Sold some deadwood for good prices tho.

How is Jube able to spend like mad men tho? The names they rumoured to are scary tbh.

Juventus have gotten a lot of financial mileage from their Future players which is an advantage Inter will hopefully have if they can get that set up for next season. Koopmeiners looked great last season for Atalanta and Douglas Luiz was one of the PL's most respected midfielders - it's odd that both have made such slow starts, though good for us.

Giuntoli has gone in properly big-time on Motta though and that will become even more embedded if they continue their chase for Zhirkzee. They were very interested in Calafiori too of course.

Frattesi to Napoli makes no sense. He isn't a Conte type of player. Ok. His forward runs are good which Conte likes but he is weak defensively. Conte wants grinta in midfield.

I think Frattesi will be good under Conte. Most probably he will use him to exploit the open spaces of opposition's defense.
