He was rock solid at Liverpool, Juve paid huge fees to him and agents (almost 15 millions) plus huge salary.

Market is inflated, everything went crazy’s.

You are doing great job but should have standard regarding loans.

For Milan dude you’re calculating -8 millions even if is loan while for Can you’re ignoring the fact that’s obligation and looks like Juve spend like crazy over the winter.

Anyway, good job :)

Nope it is an option, becoming obligation only after certain achievement.

Also loan+obligation = outright buy in FFP terms.

Its always a judgement call, my friend. Just to clarify my rationale:

1. Loan + Obligation (lp): I use this when the obligation to buy is seemingly based on easily achievable parameters or its obvious that the obligation will be enforced. Politano is one example. Saelemaekers is an interesting case where half of his fee is paid upfront as loan fee (€3.5m), so I've taken the obvious call that this will be redeemed. Technically these are all loans. I could classify these as loans (like all other websites) but that gives no idea of a club's committed spending.

2. Loans (l): In cases where its an option to buy or in certain cases where its an obligation based on parameters which are not easily achievable, I do classify it as a loan. As this is not a certain buy. Suso is one example - he only becomes an obligation if Sevilla qualify for the CL which is by no means a certainty. As you mentioned, Emre Can is another example - most papers are reporting that as an "option to buy" which becomes an obligation if certain unknown parameters are met, so I classify that as a loan as well.

Of course, I only get my info from what is reported, so some of this could be wrong. There could also be some "gentlemen's agreements" here that we don't know of. So I am not making these judgement calls on perfect information.

Cant believe how shit those milan squad is, considering the amount of $ and wages they've spent
They keep making shit transfer after shit transfer
Only Donnarumma and Theo realistically can break into inter starting XI

Thank God we have a competent management, from thohir to suning,
Milan is like poor man ManU

Even donnarumma won't break into inter starting XI, we have better GK.

Milan is going to recover. How soon, it remains to be seen. But it's not far away.

I rate Fiorentina's mercato above 5. They got a lot of decent players, which solidifies their level, and provides solid starting/backup options.

I agree. Its an Inter forum, so people do tend to under rate Milan's players. For rookie directors, Maldini and Boban are doing an ok job, they just keep screwing up on the coaching hire. Pioli is not bad, but they should have gone for at least a Spalletti level coach. Pioli will probably steady the ship, even take them towards CL qualification. However this Milan can quickly become a threat if they get a top coach, which most likely will happen this summer.

I think Politano can do work for them, as could Petagna. Don't actually think their window has been that bad... In fact, I think Lobotka and Demme were really good signings. Don't thjink 5/10 does them justice... Nor does your comment.

Though Politano's price is 2m€ for the loan + 19m€ for obligation. Then 2m€ bonuses. His price is not 25m€ like you put it out.

His value to us was 0..... 5th choice behind a 17 year old and a guy injured for 3 months :)

Him being after Esposito in the pecking order was probably just a way to convince him that he had to leave.

Raiola: 'I created the transfer market'

Agent Mino Raiola described the transfer market as a theatrical production that he “created,” but is now pushing for a “revolution” against FIFA and "this form of human trafficking."

The representative of players including Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Matthijs de Ligt is never one to shy away from controversy and made several headlines in his interview with Belgian site Sport/Voetbalmagazine.

“It’s January 1, the theatre opens, the curtain rises and the show can start. But behind the scenes, the main actors are already busy with rehearsals for half the year. It is the same way for us,” said Raiola.

“For example, with Erling Haaland, I was working on that for almost a year. His father is closely involved. I spoke to a number of clubs, listened to plans, saw numbers and negotiated them. This way, Erling could make a well-advised decision.”

While many accuse Raiola of ruining the game with his style of negotiating and urging players to make repeated moves, he is very proud of his role.

“I don’t want to come across as arrogant, but I think that I created this market. Football became a show and entertainment. I invented the football market in the 25 years I’ve been active. It’s a gigantic industry by now, which I shaped by never shutting my mouth and always taking a stand for my players.”

When it comes to the Football Leaks allegation that Raiola could earn €49m in various commission fees for Pogba’s return to Manchester United in 2016, the agent remains bullish.

“I didn’t threaten anyone at Manchester United with a gun to bring back Paul Pogba. It’s always about the Pogba deal again, because my friends from the FIFA did not give a damn about the data protection act to influence the public opinion.

“It’s very strange that it’s always about my earnings, but you don’t hear anything from the FIFA, when Ajax receive €150m for two boys (De Ligt to Juventus and Frenkie de Jong to Barcelona). Then this is great and Ajax have done well.”

Raiola outlined plans to break away from FIFA, so clubs and agents can work independently of the world football body, something he calls a “corrupt monopoly with incompetent leaders.

“FIFA is done, the old system is over. This is the start of a new era, we are at the foundation stages. It’s time for a revolution.”

His plans seem to go even further than those of the Football Agents Forum, which Raiola founded with Jorge Mendes, Jonathan Barnett and others.

“If it was up to me, we’d abolish the current transfer system immediately. We’d get a share of players’ earnings and if we abolish the system, clubs have more money for players, I think. This transfer system is a form of human trafficking.”
