Tomori & Mandzukic are not top transfers, but two very useful players to cover some of the gaps at Milan. Its obvious that Milan see an opportunity to win the scudetto, and they are going for it.

Inter see the same opportunity, and 2-3 cheap buys/loans could really help us cover our gaps (LWB, 4th Striker), but we are broke.

Small things like these can be the difference in morale/motivation needed to win the Scudetto.

Milan signing Meite (which is no better than Vecino), Tomori that never proved to be even a decent CB and Mandzukic which i like but didn't play much since 18/19 and was free agent since the begining of July. Oh wait, and now they want the almighty Firpo. Everyone panicking like they signed M'bappe and Sancho.

This mercato shows perfectly that our squad is way better than Milan, even Juve and Napoli have better squads. Pioli is doing amazing job there, but winning the scudetto race it's up to us and our biggest rival is Inter itself.

Right now there are 4 gaps in the squad. Backup side cb, vice Brozovic. starting left wingback and a vice Lukaku. But with Inter out of Europe the only real necessity is a player for the left wing. Sadly we're broke and we can't sign anyone in January. Even without signings, the squad depth is pretty good to go all the way against these Juventus and Milan barring an injury or covid crisis.

Barca won’t do us favors they dislike us as much as Man U/Chelsea do

The lack of decent CB options is what has me the most worried at the moment. The quality drop off between the starting backline and bench options is.. significant...

A quality LWB would bring the biggest improvement in the starting XI and also more depth, but if we're forced into playing Kolarov, I'm not sure I would feel very safe.

vice-Lukaku should be a pre-requisite for next season, but it's probably a luxury we can do without with only seriea A and Coppa to play for the rest of the year *knock on wood*
