Imagine what our Plusvanza or whatever the fuck its called you guys praise Ausilio for, if we had sold Perisic to United for whatever money they were willing to give us years ago. Instead, we got 3 seasons of rarely good, average at least, mediocrity at most. That offer was before the world cup, in 2017 when Spalletti was just hired. There were no offers in 2018 after the world cup. At least not in public. And even if there were, selling him was never an option as Spalletti loved him.

I recall that after the World Cup, there were a lot of rumors about Perisic but don't remember a concrete offer. But i'm quite certain that 70-80mln demand by Inter was mentioned and FIF had a great debate should we sell him for less or not.
