I think Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, Haaland goes to Man City, Dybala goes to Barcelona and Vlahovic is staying in Italy, for either Inter or Juventus.

I don't know. For whatever reason I have a lot of difficulty imagining Dybala at Barcelona.

What I have zero difficulty imagining however, is Exor giving Juve another €400m capital injection with which they buy Vlahovic, while we head into next season with fucking Dzeko as our starting striker again.

And while I enjoy Commisso and agree with a lot of his complaints in principle, the guy can get fucked too. He was always a juve fan and tried to buy Milan before eventually settling for Fiorentina. I have no doubt his allegiance is with his investment but it's clear he has a thing for us and gladly attacks us at every opportunity.

Do Inter or Juve have the money for Vlahovic? Also I mean I understand he benches Dzeko... but the salaries on the bench for CF at that point are out of this world. Also we have to drop 30 for Correa who no one will buy as a bench player. I just don't see him coming.

Dybala for free on high wages is really the only option up front for next season or its keep what we have and hope one of the 3-4 Youth strikers we have out on loan are good enough to be a bench option.

Commisso hates us. There’s no way we’re getting Vlahovic unless the player puts his foot down for a move.

Agree midfield is the priority. We need a box to box like Frattesi and someone who can understudy the Brozovic role (it shouldn’t be Agoume). Gagliardini can do his usual whatever while he’s still here.

Then the left back situation needs to be addressed. Perisic renewal or Kostic seem the most obvious solutions. Probably makes more sense to go for Kostic than give Ivan a big contract.

Then we need another quality cb for the rotation. Or 2 if De Vrij leaves (Bremer, Ginter).

Then we get to the attack. Sanchez obviously costs too much and can’t be relied on physically. We would be losing a big creative spark. In a perfect world we could find someone like that, but I’m not thrilled about our prospects. Raspadori is the first name that comes to mind but it’s pretty obvious he’s still too raw to be relied on. We could instead try to line up a more true striker to eventually replace Dzeko (Scamacca, Alvarez). This option might make the most sense from a practical perspective right now.

No matter how you shake it— it’s gonna be a busy summer. I’m with Uni in that it’s absurd we haven’t seen even one big investment after the big sales we made last summer. But at the same time; we haven’t exactly been balancing the books in previous years and we suddenly hit an economic crisis… hopefully we seen at least one sizable investment in the near future.

No Milan player
Imo, Psg will replace mbappe with dybala

They already had quite some number of argentines there and prospect of linking with messi and di maria would entice him. Psg could easily offer his demanded salary too.

Rumour for Arthur - Aubameyang swap deal.

Torino are interested in our former target Nandez.

Imagine being as desperate as Roma is, having guys like Santon and Fazio on the roster that no one knows they're still around and your solution to the striker department is freaking Braithwaite.

It's ironic, because they're making the same shit moves that Bartomeu's Barcelona was doing, only difference is that Totti and De Rossi were discarded by the previous owners!

Koulibaly earns almost twice that.

Insigne was at 4.5-5m

Mertens 4.5m, may re-sign, at half of that I presume.

Lozano and Osimhen are at 4.5m as well.

Zielinski cannot expect a pay raise, he's at 3.5m.

Weird one, but I guess De Laurentis cannot hold the fort by himself, especially without CL as a regular thing anymore.

Your analysis is spot on, though our needs are pretty obvious!
The management made no big investments after our sales last summer. But our books were anyway pretty fucked!
The most important thing will be how much need to be our cost (salaries and amortisation) ? If we could keep the same cost, we have enough players with big salaries, soon to be free agents. Marotta will have room to operate.

Midfield is the priority. Vidal, Vecino and eventual Sensi are leaving. We need too midfielder and Gags could take the 6th spot. Freuler could be a good vice-Brozo. Free agent, a lot of experience in Serie A and CL. Was a pillar at Atalanta in all these years. And we need another nice prospect in midfield who could make the next step in his career. Frattesi fill obviously the bill. But maybe Castrovilli for Sensi and some money. Won't be bad at all, Castrovilli stock is all time low. Frattesi is now what Castrovilli was 2 years ago. Both of them will flourish in Inzaghiball.

I know people will laugh at this hiring because of his stints at Milan and Torino but he had done a good job at Sampdoria in the past so maybe it isn't going to be another disaster for him.

Giampaolo at Sampdoria is great news for Sensi as he will probably switch to a midfield trio. If he's smart enough he will accept the offer.
