Inter's transfers since Oaktree:

Josep Martinez (14m)
Luka Topalovic (1m)
Tomas Palacios (7m)
Alex Perez (loan + 0.5m option to buy)

Its too early to confirm this scary trend, but I doubt high wage loan deals like Muani or Rashford are in the agenda. I have a bad feeling that the great "Marotta deal" days are past us now, his hands may be tied

So far Oaktree transfers have a very banter era-ish feel
And now Tomas Perez for 7m. I hope all this is just about building a B squad for the lower division

Absolute fucking joke.

Those Marotta deals were funded by club selling starters almost every summer. If this is the way people want club to operate, fine. But then we have no right to lose our shit when they consider offers for Bastoni, Barella, Dimarco or Lautaro.

Money to pay those deals doesn't come out of thin air. We don't have a sugar daddy.

I was completely anti Rashford but holy smokes he can’t make us worse. Obviously it won’t happen because oaktree don’t gaf if we win or lose the title, but my god he cannot be a worst option than the clowns in our ranks right now.
twice the wages, same amount of goals!

They'll sell Barella when he hits 29/30 and his engine starts to go.
Bastoni/Martinez are the main dangers to be sold to raise funds IMO.

How are Juventus managing to spend so much last summer and this January?

They have pumped in massive amounts with capital increases to keep the club working normal. Over a billion in the last 3-4 years.

Last year they did 200m€ and Elkann agreed to support the Giuntoli's Motta project. But things will get really interesting if they miss UCL this year too, all the income missing, new shirt sponsor missing, you want a premium sponsor, but you can't ask the premium without UCL. They've spent hundreds of millions for new transfers and results are missing.

The most damaging thing this season is Motta ending in EL or even Conference spots to play those thursday evening's matches that won't even bring real money in and their Serie A run would be hit with minimal recovery time because of those games.

As of today , they are simply in panic mode. Why? Because they know Milan need that 4th as much as they do so they just desperately pump more money in to save their season. All those draws have made their confidence drop to almost bottom. And they fear Conceicao's Milan.

I fear more for the club now under oaktree than I ever did under Suning. At least Milan’s owners appear to care about winning, they just built a horrible squad. Oaktree just do not care about the team. They’re more focused on rushing to build a b team than giving their manager tools to win the league. I’m not saying ignore the b team but I’d rather we balance the two. Frattesi gotta go now. He is a totally useless player for us. He needs to go so we can bring someone in of value.

My issue is this. Our forward situation is dire. I'm not his biggest fan but Marcus Rashford would fit our system to a tee. We could really use his pace in this team and even at his downright worst he is better than what we have at finishing. If Oaktree were serious about winning they would inquire about a 6 month loan deal and pay half his wages. He comes here and immediately gives us a talented forward to rotate with Thuram and Lauti. He is lazy asf but strikers in a two man partnership dont necessarily require a ton of tracking back. There's literally no risk in just inquiring about it. And it would actually be nice to get some media attention for once. There's little to no risk in doing that. But we arent going to do anything. Hell we'll probably sell Frattesi at the end of the window and bring in some banter level signing and excuse it as "Well they didnt have time to replace him". Oaktree fucking suck. Theres nothing else to it. If we remain under them for even just a few years we are going to be in massive trouble.

We're paying 5 forwards right now and we don't even have enough roster spots to include all of them in CL list and you guys want another forward. Ok.

I get it's popular to blame all Inter problems on Oaktree but maybe you should start from those who brought Correa and Arnautovic to Inter in the first place.

No one is coming if no one leaves.

I get no one is coming if no one is leaving. That's how Inter have been since covid. Really since Thohir got here. But why is it other clubs like Milan who have a shit ton of forwards can go get him when we cant? Saying we cant go improve the squad because the squad list is too bloated is just giving oaktree an excuse. The club is not going to crumble because we bring in a loan player for 6 months and have 6 forwards instead of five. Ownership is the issue here. We're bringing in U21's for millions of dollars who will never see the light of day here. I dont get this rush to build a youth team for Serie D like it'll be the end of the world if we dont get one up and running by next year. IDK man i've learned most problems with corporations stems from selfish leadership up top. Doesn't matter if its sports or a regular business. I can't blame the middle men like Ausilio/Marotta who have their hands tied by selfish ownership who are here to bring up the value of the team and then sell.

Pep is a joke. His rumoured deals are gonna cost over 200m and we're in freaking January. And he hasn't signed a Rodri replacement yet. More is coming.

Milan has more commercial revenue, more matchday revenue, less debts and less expenses and less costs in total. They actually made a small profit over the 23/24 season. While we had a loss of 35 mln (not bad for us by the way).

Financial wise we are not on the same level as Milan. Jube had a lot of costs, but if you look at their commercial revenue, they are way ahead of us sadly.

It’s quite an active January window. City, PSG and Jube in panic mode I guess.
