With all the respect for sheriff, i dont think they will win any of thier upcoming matches, i cant see us fucking up this time.... even that our name is inter...
I can see them beating a Shakhtar side that have nothing to play for but beating Real again? I doubt it. They got two wins because everyone underestimated them but Real aren't going to make the same mistake again.

How tho? If both Sheriff and us win the next round, the table will look like this:

10 - Inter
9 - Sheriff
9 - Real Madrid
1 - Shaktar

Then in the last round any of the top 3 can fly out.
Sheriff won't win against Real. Their first leg win was a fluke. It's all in our own hands.

Sheriff finally looked like the Moldovan minnow they were billed as today. Perhaps the initial adrenaline rush of CL football wore off. Or perhaps we took the wind out of their sales, who knows. However the lack of ability to retain possession in the midfield was shocking at times from them. The commentator on CBS Sports who was in the stadium said it was the most one sided games he’s seen in a long time. It could have and should have realistically been a 5-0 type of match. I’m not the guy who thinks every chance should get scored but wow we missed some ridiculous chances in the first half. If Lautaro doesn’t whiff we’re probably talking about a rout right now. His form is worrying.

On to the next. We are probably the favorites in the Derby despite the league table. Ibra will start for sure since he was rested in their CL game and Leao will be dangerous. However beyond that the don’t really scare me much, Theo out is a huge loss for them. Wouldn’t it be nice if we were the bogeyman that Juventus was for years and put some fear in the leagues hearts with a strong victory? We can only hope.

I’m just happy we beat these guys twice like we were supposed to
But this win and our present form do not count for shit if we do not follow through with three points against Shaktar and qualification from the group.

It is time for us to play and perform to expectations like Italian Champions rather than the play like the the champions of who are only worthy of winning a bag of dicks.

At this time, I cannot help but think our home match against PSV when Spalletti set up the team like a pronvincial minnow from Serie B and played for a draw.

Far from through, if Sheriff beats Real again. In their last match they only need to win a Shaktar youth team to kick us out.
If Sheriff beat Madrid again, I’ll eat my hat. No offence to them but they looked well out of their element against us. We dominated the entire game. The score was flattering to them. We just need to beat Shakhtar at the Meazza (which is probably too much to ask for this club in a CL game) and we’re essentially through.

Brozo was massive. Get this man extended immediately. We lose him on a free and it’d be devastating.

Good win, great performance, shame for the clean sheet but hopefully it acts as an experience to avoid being complacent at the end and not give away fouls so easily.

Lautaro always seems to have a stretch of bad games every season.

In 2019/20, he was poor in second round but we blamed it on Barcelona rumours. Last season there were periods he had gone goalless in the league for many games while in CL he scored just once. This season he's having a rough patch ever since he returned from the international break. Goalless in 4 consecutive league games while he has yet to score in CL. Consistency remains an issue for the guy.

Great game, controlled from start to finish yea they got a goal but totally undeserved, good goal and lucky nothing else to say about it.

Very happy Sanchez got a goal, he just hammered and hoped haha you could tell how much he wanted that goal, it's just a brutal shame for him to be in our squad right now because he is fighting Toro/Dzeko then Correa.. no matter how good he plays in these opportunities the sad reality is he will always be on the bench unless we are resting players in cup games/lesser opponents.

Brozovic was outstanding, does not matter who we are playing he always gives 110% he is simply the best in his role in the world, anyone who disagrees just simply hasn't watched his games, such a talent I am so proud he is apart of our squad.

Onwards to Shakhtar which will be a very tough game mentally due to the last 3 results, I think though once we get 1 goal they start flooding in. I fully expect Real Madrid to beat Sheriff very very comfortably then its gameday 6 for top spot.

Real are such cunts, they might lose again to Sheriff and make our life hell. How did they lose to them once at home to begin with.

They lost the first leg because they were extremely wasteful. Had their chances went in the final result could end 6-2.

They won't lose the second tie, as it keeps their qualification under serious threat.
