I think it will be better for everyone if we will be allowed to have signatures , let alone they add a lot of color to the forum , they help recognizing each other.
I think we should have signatures , and an option in the profile that will make them invisible to users who have slow internet or something.

Nope. It´s the worst thing you can have on a forum. People abuse them, and make huge ones which means you have to scroll like a maniac. And people with bad connections won´t be able to surf like a normal person.

Images in signatures is a put-off completely.

Yeah Jimmey but in a lot of other forums users can actually turn off signatures , so if someone doesn't want to see them he doesn't have to.

But why make it more difficult for people? The more images there are on a forum, the more bandwith we´ll waste as well.

Well, i post on a american football forum and you are only allowed to use signatures that are 400x100. Things work fine but it is a vBulletin board which is known as the very best.

I suggest that we keep things the way they are as this forum is working faster then ever before in my case. It usually runs much slower then it currently is, and i have no idea why.

Yes. I agree that signatures should be restricted to text, and not images. They will lag up the whole forum.

You need 10 posts before you are allowed to have a signature. This is a requirement from the administrators to prevent any occurances of spambots trying to advertise their sites. 1 more post then.

I wanted to suggest something to improve signatures around the forums (only my personal opinions, of course):

- Do not leave blank lines between different sentences in your sig: use colours instead! yellow, white, red, lime and orange are all clearly visible. Your sig will be more compact, it will cause less scrolling and I think people will read it more easily.
