My favourite Inzaghi moment 1:09 already love him. Forza Simon!

he's always shouting to the players, simliar like conte. But diffrent from Conte he also walks with the team (like in the video) Sometimes he enters the field. Seriously, everytime i see a lazio game i hear the commentary say "Inzaghi is basically on the field"

Conte's nutricionist, Matteo Pincella, is going to stay at the club andd be a part of Inzaghi staff. Good news. Lukaku has praised him many times.

I believe we can sell Mario, Radja, Vidal, Vecino, Sensi, Pinamonti, Dalbert, Lazaro and some primavera players for this amount. 5M here, 5M there and maybe we can do it.

I don't believe it but let's say that mngmt convince somehow Vidal and Sanchez to find other clubs. We'll save a lot of wages there. JM, Perisic, 9n and Vecino might bring 20-30mln and will get rid of their hefty salaries as well. Not sure about Lazaro and Sensi though. The former could be used by Indzaghi and the latter could be fit for a long time when Pintus is gone now. Don't see anybody buying Dalbert and Pinamonti. We also have Aguame and Salcedo plus Satriano (the primavera guy), which could bring some plusvalenza. When add one major sale (let's say Lukaku) and Young's and Kolarov's wages off, we actually could even purchase some players and get some on loan too.

We do have to sell Dalbert, Nainggolan and Joa Mario as soon as possible. Then, lets see if someone wants Vecino, Sensi and Gagliardini. If Hakimi will be sold i dont think Lazaro will go anywhere. Pinamonti hasnt shown me anything that would make him special, so he can also go, but with his wages it will be impossible to find something other than a loan. Then theres Padelli, Kolarov and Young, who are gone for free. Rano and Dambrosio could also go for free. Out of Vidal and Sanchez one will for sure leave, if not both. We also know that there will be a big sale if not two.... And that leads to a giant problem. Who the fuck will replace these players??

FW: Lukaku, Lautaro, Esposito, Salcedo
MID: Brozovic, Eriksen, Barella, Agoume
WB: Perisic, Darmian, Dimarco, Hakimi, Lazaro
CB: De Vrij, Skriniar, Bastoni, Pirola
GK: Handa, Radu, Stankovic

Thats whats left with most of the rotation players gone. At least one more starter will be sold.
Now, if we go into the season with Espo and Salcedo as 3rd and 4th strikers, we can end the season before it even starts. There has to be a good replacement for Alexis and also a 4th striker.
Vecino and Gagliardini staying makes most sense, cause no one is gonna spend big money on them and Inter doesnt have any money to buy replacements. So, the mid will probably be the same, just no Vidal and Sensi.
Wingback position becomes a problem if Hakimi is sold. I have no idea how would they replace him. They'd probably just put Lazaro in that place, which also means we are fucked.
Rano needs to renew and even if Dambrosio leaves, there are free options on the market, that are just as good as him.
Radu could be swapped for someone like Silvesti.

All of this sucks, and we need better rotation players, but I dont expect to see them.

Oh and if Lukaku is sold, does anyone really think that we are getting someone like Vlahovic? I for sure dont. These cheap fuck will get Dzeko.

If we really need to make 80m from sales then players like De Paul, Castrovilli, Vlahovic and other expensive signings are totally unrealistic. We're probably back to making only loan deals.

I would sell sell Brozovic (€30-40M), Lukaku (€90-100M), Dalbert (€5M), Lazaro (€8-10M), Vidal (€3-6M), João Mário (€7M) and Nainggolan (€5M).

And buy Dimarco (€7M), Locatelli (€30-40M) and Vlahović (€50-60M).

That's around +€60M right there plus a lot saved in wages, and I'm sure Ausilio can easily make around €20M more selling various youngsters.

I wish Pintus would have stayed.

The same fancy numbers have been floating around for two years now but those fuckers are still here.

Everyone is still in the middle of a pandemic. Sure they will spend millions on rubbish, which they can get for free, if waiting long enough.

We wanted ~18m for Joao Mario last season.
We wanted ~20m for Radja.
We wanted ~12m for Dalbert.
We wanted ~15m for Lazaro.

We wanted to maintain capital gains for FFP. Guess what? FFP is partly dead.

We can make whatever sales necessary, the issue is how much we will be getting as first instalment.

If Lukaku goes, Manchester United also has a 5% or something on top. We're not going to get that in cash, but we may manage to get something like a 40m down payment if we sell him for 80m. That still means that we need to get money from others.

We need to raise money from the sales of guys like Mario, Dalbert, Lazaro, Radja, maybe Vidal as well. That's probably going to fetch us 20m instantly on its own, so still, not really enough, but of course we also have season ticket sales, new sponsorships. But still, the 80m figure is exactly why another player has to be sold (where we get around 30m maybe in cash instantly) and that is most likely going to be Brozovic, with De Vrij and Eriksen being the next two candidates perhaps.

But we will be hearing a lot about Skriniar leaving as well, Lautaro and several others. Marotta is a trigger happy dude, the new coach will have no attachment to these guys even if he rates them, so it's up to the management what they decide.

I think Inzaghi can get something done if we sell Brozovic and Lukaku. Brozovic may be out next season on a free, so it's safer to sell him if we cannot renew him. Building around Lukaku does not seem like a good strategy for Inzaghi. It'll hinder both Lukaku and the team. It's maybe best for both parties to cash him in. I don't think Simone is willing to pamper Lukaku the way Conte did and I don't think Lukaku has much respect for this guy either, so it may become a volatile situation now that Lukaku feels like the club belongs to him.

at least their ultras know who he is

''22 years with Lazio’s eagle on your chest, first as player, then as coach. You’ve won a lot, you’ve suffered and celebrated with us. You’ve always spoken like a fan and not like a simple coach. You’ve showed you care about the shirt.
You’ve showed you care about our history and our ideals with honor and attachment to the shirt, but mostly with respect. For this we’ll thank you for all these years we lived together and because of this we could never protest about your decision.
With respect and admiration, good luck mister. In football there are no “bandiere “ unless it’s the one that fans brings to the stadium on the matchday.''

I'll never understand why everyone puts Brozovic in their selling list with some fancy number in 30-40m range. He is our fucking engine, he is absolutely critical to our play. And over the last few years, none of our other good midfielders - Barella, Eriksen, Vidal, Sensi - have been able to do what he does on the pitch.

And also, he won't fetch that amount since his contract isn't that long. For me, he is the first player I would extend.

For some sort of weird reason, I'm not excited but really optimistic about this appointment (if one can feel that way).

I think we might see within the first few months of the season how this is going to pan out. The telling point for me will not be so much the early results, but the team's ability to deal with adverse situations within games under the new coach. I think the first few months will be a challenge to get blokes focused again.

I'm not getting Mancini vibes (2004), but also not Ranieri vibes.

Problem is what the roster will look like and if the right decisions are made there.

I think that we will be up to a surprise with Inzaghi. Dunno, just a feeling that he will deliver.

For Inzaghi I think the bigger problem coming from the latter stage. He could string a series of wins, make us play like best team in the league for a while. But as soon as one loss occurs, the train completely derails and flushing down the whole season.

That has happened for multiple seasons at Lazio and seems unchanged. Inzaghi didn’t know how to calm panic players down.

Let’s see how it goes here at Inter. Sometimes you need to be badass and educate your students with a stick. Like when Conte double-subbed Martinez to teach him the winning mentality, even in meaningless matches.

I think it is safe to say that Inzaghi will do better in CL but worse in Serie A than Conte.

I would trade the success in CL for another Seria A title next season.

CL is important of course, but in better days with better coach, budget and roster. For me it's more important to defend the Scudetto and build from there. We have suffered a massive blow, and it's probably not done yet. Lets see who goes and who stays, and if we bring fresh blood in important areas. Then we can talk about CL.
