Some of you guys are such drama queens. I'm mad as hell at suning and also disappointed as fuck but there is still hope, the back bone of this team is still the same, assuming we don't lose any more stars, on paper we should be solid defensively even better than last year if we land Nandez and our offence is two smart purchases (right wing and forward) away from a decent competitive team. I remember last year the first couple of month all I read here was bitching and moaning that we won't even make top 3. most of the season we saw Gaglia playing, Sensi injured and Eriksen sitting on the bench so a midfield of Brozo Barella and Calha (Sensi) is definitely an upgrade! calm your titts and hope for these fuckers to get us Vlahovic and Dzeko.

I don’t know what’s going on in the coach’s mind but probably contemplating the possibility of playing Perisic upfront with Lautaro with Satriano and Alexis as backup.

Vlahovic or Zapata? You’d be lucky if we manage to keep the back 3 and Lautaro. Just forget about it.

It’ll be Dimarco and Kolarov on the left. Darmian and DDA on the right. Brozo-Hakan-Barella in the middle with Gaglia-Sensi-Vecino as backup.

Back 3 must stay and Rano is the only backup. You’d also see lots of Kolarov and DDA too given that they’ll have to cover both LWB/LCB and RWB/RCB all the time.

We've lost like 40 goals and 30 assists without hakimi and lukaku and there's a massive gap between inzaghi and conte.

We're in a fight for top 4. Make no mistake about it.

To be entirely honest, I've never been less interested in this club. Won the league and two days later they ripped the fucking soul out of the whole thing. Fuck them.

we really do have shitty mercato. i wont pretend that i'm not dissapointed. but, we have suffered quite long after Treble so this one would not hurt that much. i would go with some limited optimism here. i have this faith that Inzaghi will turn things around next season. his gameplan in Lazio did not rely on one big Striker as a fulcrum. we should expect something different. or maybe a surprise.

Iirc almost everyone on the forum agreed during the last season that we needed reinforcements for the 1st team and a stronger bench or we won't be able to keep up. Especially in CL, but in Serie A as well.

Just compare that collective sentiment with the situation now.

Inzaghi was probably chosen by Marotta because he knew this would be a turbulent summer and he wanted a modest coach so to speak.

The only positive thing I saw in the pre-season was that it seems we aren't so reliable on our strikers to score goals. I have a feeling our midfielders will score more this season with Inzaghi as a coach.
