If Inzaghi had any common sense he would bench Handanovic and start Onana and give the Captaincy to Skriniar.

It would give Skriniar something to think about and consider given PSG's interest and it would be an indication from the club that he is important to us, despite what happened over the summer. Also, I think Skriniar needs the motivation of the Captaincy to get him to re-focus his attention on his role at Inter, his standing in team and at the club.

Of course, I do not see Inzaghi doing any of the above. We will be held hostage to Hanadanovic to our own detriment and Skriniar's performances will continue to be up and down until his future is decided, one way or the other.

Him starting Handanovic just furthers the point that his job is not, and never was at stake. Handanovic is one of the worst keepers in the league now. No other team allows this many goals on this few of chances. Onana is a better goalkeeper and he’s a hungrier goalkeeper. He has a point to prove. Inzaghi is just a classic stubborn Italian coach. And unless your name is Antonio Conte(Ancelotti is on a different planet) it generally ends with the coach getting fired. Just like it will happen here at the end of the year.

His football is super attacking, but we also concede much. That's what happened at the beginning of the last season. Remember everyone was criticizing him for poor defending. He even said that he doesn't care sbout conceding a lot as long as his team outscores opponents.

Apart from some poor tactical decisions, Inzaghi still cant solve our main issue when our opponents doing the high line pressing. players fitness also has been our main concern. the boys look tired most of the times and it's on him. managing tight schedule is his weakness so far.

i do agree with you

but you dropped couple of main historical points
Inzaghi previous total points per match ~1.7
last year he managed to bring around 2.11
so on average i think he will manage to score 2.05-2.0 this year due to his previous average

BUT
there is another weak and visible weakness in our team
our subs is not reliable and doesnt provide any depth/optionality for the COACH, whiether its simone or his succeder.

if you are willing to hire a medicore coach, then atleast supplemnt him with strong bench, and players who can add value and change the game track.(dont see gag,dambriosi, can change anygame by 180 degree)

so wheither we manage to improve or not, i cant see inzaghi manages the team up to par till MAY 2023,

i expect based on our start this year + our coach average
a 57 -65 points in seria A
if we managed to win barc or take a draw...then i do believe we will manage to conintue our CL trip

managing to get into the 16th stage = greater than winning the seria in terms of money returns.
which will make our owners/admins smirk.
