Zhang's Ok
He talked plenty about "balance" in his conference yesterday, here's hoping he does something about our defensive setup.

I ask for a team who are ready to react, ready to play football well, those two things have been seen over the first six games but I would like to see more balance, we attack with many players and develop a lot. But we might have to look for less difficult choices. Failing simple passes might lead to very dangerous counter attacks and transitions.”

We found some difficulties (when pressed high) and some games where we went behind, but I’m delighted with the reactions from my team, despite some unfavorable episodes, and there were more than one, the team has always remained aware and in the game.

Inzaghi was asked if he’s planning to make any changes to find more balance ahead of the clash with the Ukrainians.
We are an attacking team, who develop the game and do it in amplitude,” he said. “On certain days, if we make more mistakes than usual and against quality opponents, we could suffer. But we will always try to create our game, create opportunities, just like we are doing.”

^ What I understand from his interview is that he doesn't intend to change our new style but he'll require more concentration when passing the ball. This will have some effect for sure but not this one we are hoping for.

Just continue being attacking team, no more Cunte/Spaletti chickenshit football. We lack one top creative midfielder, instead Hakan who failed miserably so far, to become team that Inzaghi wants.

I wish he listened to De Vrij who said we need to find the right balance between defence and attack.

There is no balance, we have no fast players to play on counter, and we cannot just sit back and defend. We can play only like this, to try score goal(s) more than opponent. Thats our reality right now. If Correa steps up plus Dumfries than we could play on counters, with Dzeko and Darmian or just one of them in first team no fkn way. Especially with Hakan who is total shite so far.

I think we can find some balance, even unable to counter attack quickly. When we take the lead we can try to play more tiki-taka with more safe passes instead to look for more direct approach. Just see how we played right after Lautaro's goal. We attempted some very risky horizontal passes, some of which were intersected and immediately caused chaos in our backline. Instead to "kill" Atalanta's urge to equilizied and slow down the tempo, we were totally lost. We were unable to withstand their pressing and in the rare moments when we did it, we couldn't string two passes together. In these moments we also need some players to take a responsibility and to try beat an opposition player and to win a foul, thus slowing down the game.

We need a press resistant midfielder. FIF hating on Kova because he doesn't rack 10 goals and assists a season, hope you now see the importance of such a player. Not many around. Maybe we can get Ndombele on loan.

Kova is momentaly totally different player. He improved abnormaly in last 6 months, finally his mentality is spot on. It was a damn time cause his football knowledge was never an issue.

Forget it, we are stuck with The Turkish Ghost + Vecino and Gags for the years to come.

The second half is entirely on him. Taking Brozovic out basically killed our game. He also took zero risks as if he was satisfied with the draw. Very disappointing.

The whole match is on him.

Our first half performance was ridiculously bad. It's like our game plan was completely destroyed by De Zerbi.

Inzaghi should have started Correa/Sanchez. so far the high pressing opponents know that it will nullify Dzeko's presence. they just need to beat him in the aerial duel. players like Sanchez or Correa have tricky movement and dribble. it will cause problems for opponent. Inzaghi needs to work on this since this high pressing against us is a recurrent pattern now.

I think he should try the preseason linup, with correa the only striker and hakan behind him and gags/vidal in midfled, lautaro and dzeko both need to eat bench....

And now he must beat Sheriff twice. Typical italian idiot of coach.

Yeah, it was absolutely fucking pathetic by Inzaghi. De Zerbi schooled him hard.

I don't understand how can't we figure out the teams which play the tiki-taka. It's not like the players there are xavis and iniestas against us.
