Making dozens of chances week after week and yet failing to convert them is not actually very lucky.
To some people, he's lucky those dozens of chances are made to begin with.

I don't want to take anything away from the positive stuff he's done, but this guy is the luckiest motherfucker on planet earth.
It's crazy how Pep who has players on his bench that costs more than Inzhagi's entire starting line up is a great coach.. yet Inzhagi who had his two best players sold on arrival, who has had to rely almost exclusively on free transfers for reinforcements, had his captain fuck off midway through the season, is the luckiest motherfucker on planet earth.

Yes, Gags is what he is. Last time he took a red? I don't even remember. Last time he took a yellow? Not long ago. The point is there was no precedence he would play so recklessly to take a second yellow at 40 mins. It was an outlier event from the coach's perspective.
Not to mention subbing a player before half is not a normal thing to do. You really only see it when a match is going extremely poorly. We weren’t actually struggling in the match. It would have been basically a fuck you to Gags. I don’t even think Conte would have pulled him off before half, it wasn’t like he was showing a lack of effort. He was just slow as fuck.

Inzaghi took out Bastoni in the first half against Udinese. There was no fuck you to Bastoni and Bastoni was not playing as reckless as Gags. Inzaghi was definitely at fault for fielding Gags and keeping him on after watching him making dangerous tackles despite being on a yellow card. There is no way to sugarcoat it, but let's not make a big fuss out of it like certain members did.

Anyway, we really wished Inter could say fuck you to Gags long time ago, but we still haven't heard it after 7 years.

And who exactly is gonna remember this defeat?
The one who called Spalletti a coward qualifying Cl unconvincingly, when UEFA changed the rule from 3 slots to 4. And the one who overused the term "loser mentality" lol.

Italy was ranked 3rd at the time so UEFA or not, 4th spot belonged to Serie A.

Losing to shitty Milan by 2 points in 2022 Scudetto, having +13 goals scored than them, it's very very unlucky

That was after we had just conceded a goal and we were getting absolutely battered by Udinese. We went on to lose that match 3-1. Like I said it’s only typical to make first half subs when the match is going poorly. The Napoli match wasn't going poorly prior to the red card.

I have feeling that even if he wins CL, he’s loved generally here 😄
he won 1 major cup
2 super coppa
increase inter trophies to 40
in INTER history, few managers managed to become part of the winners.

getting the CL is another game, its a new history for him and for the team.

I already like him, but I also like Mazzarri and Spalletti, so what do I know. A big part of FIF doesn't agree with me.

These 3 managers will be the unsung heroes of the last decade of Inter.

I get the other two, but that did Mazzarri have going for him? Has he done anything since leaving Napoli?

Well, I meant Mazzarri at Inter. I kinda rate Mazzarri's work at Inter more than Mancini's second stint.

I think we all appreciate Conte for what he brought us or Spalletti...so that is why I feel Mazzarri is underrated for his work at Inter - was the first Inter coach in the post-2010 era that played with a 3men defence that kinda worked (with a very average squad). Also was the coach that brought some fitness/stamina regimes that were really needed. He changed my mind about some formations and nowadays Inter is synonymous with 3-5-2. We had a change with Mancini/Pioli, but after that Conte and Inzaghi brought the formation back (altho with a different nuances) and we are doing a lot better

Well, I think Izaghi made logical decision at the given moment. Gagliardini is not quality player, but is experienced player, playing in not so important match, he should be aware of his situation and not risk another yellow card till half time. I'm sure at a halfe time Inzaghi would sub him. Getting 2nd yellow card few minutes before HT is beyond my understandings.
