He has no demonstrated ability to compete in multiple competitions at the same time. The minute we have two competitions (Sociedad), our quality of play fell off a cliff.

Maybe the bench isn't as good as we thought.

Too much questionable decisions. Darmian and Mkhitaryan will die if he keeps starting them, the fatigue is clear.

i feel bad for anyone that thinks this loser is capable of winning the scudetto.... Imagine being Inter and not dominate vs Sociedad, Empoli and Sassuolo... Horrible coach with zero ideas on how to switch up tactics, make adjustments and rotate, or sub players... Fucking Vidal was right, the players feel like robots out there... Cant wait to see him gone.
Well Frattesi was also crap today.

Honestly, if you need your coach to tells you to play seriously and don't slack against Sassuolo, then you got a problem.

But what the fuck was that game plan after Sassuolo scored the second goal, why sub Thuram when we need to score ? Why sub in Alexis and play long ball ? Why sub in Carlos Augusto and then play only on right side ? Why keeping Barella on the pitch ?

so was Inzaghis Armenian boyfriend.
Well Frattesi couldnt help us. Who would you field today? I would play Pavard from a start but I think that wouldnt help too.

Pavard had 2 good games, so yea, he should have played. Darmian was also pretty bad after that one tackle he did... And yea, Id probably play Frattesi and rest Mkhitaryan, but its not even the players, its the gameplan. We completely shut down after the goal and then after they scored 2, we still continued to play with zero ideas. The gameplan was to just kick the ball forward and lets hope Lautaro gets to it.
Also stamina is not an excuse, as they have been shit for 3 straight games... Team like Inter needs to dominate Sociedad, Empoli and Sassuolo. If they lose, it should be cause we wasted a bunch of chances and not cause we play to their level, or be raped like vs Sociedad and tonight.
Anyway, i've been saying the shit about Inzaghi for 2 years now, so i'll just wait until he's gone and try to keep calm.

I dont know, it seems that his teams are just not capable to perform consistent in the league.

I don't get his rotations sometimes.

What was the point of rotating Pavard for this game? I know Darmian has been good for us, but if we pay big money for Pavard, he should be a starter in the same way Barella is considered a starter, meaning he should play the majority of games, and not getting rotated after two starts, especially considering Darmian already played 90 minutes 3 days ago.

Fratessi has only 1 start in 7 games despite being our big signing (alongside Pavard). I know Fratessi wasn't great when he came on, but he was coming into a game where we looked so disjointed. Give him a start against a team where we can use his characteristics and atleticism. Instead, it looks like his first two starts may be against teams that defend in a low block where his skill set may not be as useful.

I would have expected a bit more courageous subs. 3 attackers instead of keeping the exact same formation. Augusto to LCB and so on.

But mostly he needs to keep telling the team they need to pay attention in every match. It wasn't like we didn't do anything in this match, we created a lot of threat. It just didn't got produced to a true goal scoring chances but that's mostly on players.

I'm fine with Inzaghi rotating. In fact I'd even go as far as saying we have not rotated enough. But he needs to stop relying on subbing the defenders to produce magic. The only occasion it'll work is when he creates a Carlos-Dimarco axis. Subbing in De Vrij never changes the game.

I’m sure Inzaghi tells them that. The issue is he’s not getting through. The big games where the team doesn’t need motivation we are almost flawless. The games like today just seem to keep happening under his management.

Starting to think Inzaghi might never win a title. He seems to be a cup coach.

Or the starters are overperforming for once in our lives, because we have a proper system in place?

I really don't think it is about motivation today, there are at least 4 players that you can see they are tired Dimarco, Mihki, Darmian, Lautaro. (Maybe Hakan too?)

Mind you we had to defend with 10 men for a bit too last game.
Our usual system should work amazing against Sassuolo, and I understand why the hold back for Pavard like they are better at capitalize on that space indirectly, in short, it should be like a game against Forentina, hence the same line up and game plan, trouble is you have at least 4-5 players that are too tired to carry it out.

I am not saying we can start 4-5 different players, given our bench and opponent's style, but I would expect a much better game if Pavard and Frattessi started instead (might drain other players less too with fewer tired ones), and maybe a 60 mins sub for DiMarco and Lautaro if we are still leading at that point.

I still think our bench is good, but how many are injured already? All are impact subs too.

There are things Inzaghi can improve, but I won't pin too much on him for this one, cause if he did the rotation against la Real again today, y'all be wanting his head too..

It is a long season, once the rotation players settle and Inzaghi is more assure of them, we should be like a machine.

Last season our best form came when Inzaghi rotated a lot. He pretty much rotated both forwards every second game, and typically made 5-6 changes almost game to game.

I actually feel he should have changed more this game. We played 9 of the same players that we played against Empoli and some of them looked jaded even in the Empoli match.

I think Augusto should have started this one. Dimarco is terrible against Berardi and was really poor against Empoli, with the exception of his goal.

I also feel Inzaghi is overplaying our midfield again like last season. Our backup midfielders (Frattesi, Asllani, Klaassen) have started a total of 1 Serie A match between them. Asllani started the CL match but that's only due to injury. I'm hoping Inzaghi doesn't end up overplaying Mkhi and Hakan. I mention those two because he's actually been rotating Barella more, whether by taking him off by the 60th minute or resting him against Empoli.
