I was one of the harsh critics of Inzaghi regarding his treatment of young players, but it seems I was wrong in some extent. He has assigned roles for everybody, and with Klaassen arrival, I didn't expect to see Asllani getting minutes almost every game, and even Agoume get on the pitch. But,.he proves me wrong there. I also like his rotation as the season will be long, and the major players have to be rested when is possible.

There's stuff to work on still, but he's showing that he is willing to adapt and be more flexible within the confines of his philosophy.

Subs, rotation choices and time management of players is something he'll learn the hard way, but it's much better than 2 years ago.

I love it he's giving Asllani minutes in these games. Asllani is part of the rotation now and Calhanoglu is getting rotated as any player (apart from Lautaro). Which is also important since we need to keep him fresh.

Everyone is getting rotated as I guess Inzaghi feels the players he has will do enough to allow him to do the rotation. The tough schedule started now and it's not gonna end until Christmas when there's one week break. :D

We didnt start good but its obvious that in half time he solved the problem cause in second half we totally neutralised Benfica, and dominated them. Subs were fine too.

One particularly clever move: he realized Araujo (RB coming in for Bah) is absolutely unexperienced at this level, and let almost every attack go through the left in the second half. Even Barella was there together with Mkhi which made us absolutely unpredictable. Kudos for creating the numerator superiority in that way and leading us to a win 👍.

I am very happy that we’ve found consistency on the coaches seat after decades of suffering.

I want to chant #teamInzaghi, but every time I do it, the next game is fucked up.
I think Asllani should start next game, given how exhausted Hakan was.
Not sure if we need to rest the forwards too.

Hell no, it's international break after. He has to 100% the same lineup.

I love Inzaghi (should be obvious but I don't post as much) but what I dislike about his tactics are two things that fuckin baffle my mind. Why when we sometimes are chasing games he subs out Bastoni and brings in De Vrij and shifts Acerbi to the left? Bitch Bastoni is our most creative forward-playing CB. 2nd thing which is related to the previous point is him giving fuckin Acerbi the license to get forward the most out of the defenders! IT SHOULD BE BASTONI. perhaps the logic is Acerbi is so slow that when we got countered it's better to have someone faster at the back? What does he add in the final third that Bastoni doesn't? I don't get it.

Acerbi has been immesne for us of course, I just don't want to see him going forward when he feels like it as if he's fuckin Pique.

You mean that Sassuolo match this season? That match both Dimarco and Bastoni were poor, couldn’t handle left side, Bastoni looked exhausted. You can think Augusto playing there but he had to replace Dimarco so only Acerbi for that LCB role. Beside Arcebi does ok on attacking, even in the middle if you notice, he goes forward and carries the ball more often than De Vrij.

I don't think so. He is good enough to bring us in top 4 and in tournaments, but maybe we have to accept that he cannot make us champions, unless some massive investment happen.
If we admit that the final target is top 4, everything will be much easier for us.

This game happened because we couldn't bring a proper player for our midfield to close out games we are winning. It's okay, it was bound to happen sooner or later, this isn't a farmer's league.

He simultaneously shits on coach and claims that our mercato was terrible. Hillarious stuff.
