What happens if we beat the strongest European side? We take a huge step towards being one of the best clubs in the world.
Are we not already? As champions of Serie A, we are already there, and besides of it, it's just opening match of CL campaign.

Don't have one.
I can only blame him for risking too much and putting correa on. We could have legit lost because of that. Everything else was ok and understandable, as I wrote even before the match. The real issue were players and them delivering completely flat performance.

It sucks to drop points but I really don’t feel that concerned. I still just don’t see a team that’s better than ours across 38 games. Once we lock in, get Lautaro in form, Zielinski/Taremi integrated, etc. I don’t see any team that could go on a run like we have the potential to do.

We won’t win the league by 20 points again. I think the emphasis from management this season is to basically flip the priorities from last season. We won’t say it publicly but we are going for it in Champions League while we still have this group together. This is probably last chance for Acerbi, Darmian, Sommer, Mkhi as main contributors to this team.

It’s tough to tell what will happen moving forward with this management and the team. Now could be the end of our window for quite some time.

We had 3 clear cut chances in the first half. 2 with Lautaro, 1 with Frattesi. Any of those go in, this is a completely different game and Monza opens up and doesn't park the bus.

The only thing I hate is that this is the 2nd time we've been "unlucky", and don't take our chances. We really need to be more efficient in front of goal.

I believe we were lucky to have made a comeback at all. It's not Lautaro's fault that he wasn't given enough rest after such a tough season, and people are expecting him to maintain a high level of performance

Saying that this is the last chance for Acerbi, Darmian, Sommer or Mkhitaryan to win the Champions League is an insult to the Champions League.

Some of these dudes are lucky to be even playing in it.

Speaking of Limone though, I don’t know what the fuck that was supposed to be. Asllani and to a lesser degree, Frattesi, need to have their hands held by better players. That is to say they can only play amid the security and support of Barella and Calhanoglu.

I’m also still bewildered by the decision to rest Bastoni and expend both of our LWB’s for 90 minutes - especially after Dimarco started twice for Italy.

It is different it puts us on the map even brighter. It is good for the club.

Increase good wills and so.

That doesn't look like a valid excuse to throw away a very important match of the league, but guess our management knows better.

I fully expect Darmian starting on the left against City with Dimarco and Augusto being out because of injury/fatigue

Tbh this could lead to catastrophic consequences for us and with all due respect to the players you mentioned their real quality doesn't warrant that type of approach and priority switch, so i m really hoping it won't happen. It's how you get teams like milan winning a once in a lifetime scuddetto, while we try to win a competition where even if you are clear favorite the win is far from guaranteed.

Seria A should be again an absolute priority number one.

It's super early in the season, we didn't have proper preseason as many of our key players were on holiday. It's a long ass season, if he doesn't experiment early, when is he going to? You keep playing your starting 11, you are gonna burn them out.

What good is a big squad if you can't use the backups in a relatively easier game? And the game could be killed early on had Lautaro or Frattesi taken the chances they are supposed to.

Have we been a bunch of reactionary fucks all this time and i simply did not realize?
Common guys it s a draw away to Monza while giving a breather to a lot of our top performers... This aint the end of the world.
Biggest critique for me would be putting in correa and not giving dimarco a break...
Other than that a draw that can happen imho and that wont affect our scudetto chances.

+1. It's like having Vecino and Gagliardini both on the pitch at the same time.

I would prefer to start aggressively, pressing up, quickly recovering the ball, banging in 2 goals and then controlling the game with slow tempo. Get the lead first and then relax (introduce the losers).

Inzaghi got it wrong and transmitted the wrong attitude to the team, resulting in underestimating the opponents again (like against Genoa).

Conte is already on top and won't have any European distractions. Good luck keeping up!
