Yea, this is not 1 or 2 player's fault. It's a systemic problem. Anyone thinking that having Chalha will suddenly solve our problem will be in for a surprise. We're back to Limone first two seasons. The absentees of Hakan and Acerbi can't excuse a defence in shambles
We needed that extra goal and move to low block. We got the extra goal but he got greedy. We should have moved into a low block once we had a two goal lead. Instead we pushed everyone forward for a 5th and were repeatedly exposed on the counter. Stupid, greedy tactics. I've got nothing on the Bisseck for Pavard sub.
His biggest problem is that he wont change much when it doesnt work. He will play same players till they die while they obvious cant do shit and are in terrible form. Now I can see that he really deserved only a 2 year contract not until 2030 like the whole forum wanted
Its critical to find the answers why we have been so pathetic all season. And fix it. Have team dinners, fuck them kids at home.
So true, its Mancini when he was at Inter 2.0His biggest problem is that he wont change much when it doesnt work.
2 of the goals were penalties it must be said. They count but we gave up 4 goals from open play.Everyone's focused on the fact that we conceded 4 goals, whilst disregarding the fact that we scored 4 goals against a team that hadn't even conceded that many goals all season.
Without any help from our top striker and missing our best distributor. It’s going to be a long season with many ups and downs and today was definitely a down. But seeing calls for Inzhagi to be fired whist sitting 2nd in the league and 4th in the Champions League is idiotic.
Players aren't the problem, or the solution should I say, our bench is shit. It's his all out attack approach that has been killing us defensively. That being said, I still don't think our season is over. His biggest problem is that he wont change much when it doesnt work. He will play same players till they die while they obvious cant do shit and are in terrible form.
Acerbi-one year older, one year slower. The dumbest thing he does are his automatic and robotic yellow card substitutions with zero nuance. It really is beyond stupid.
Regarding other things, I firmly believe he is the same coach defensively speaking as he was in year one, when he first came, it's just that last year players were playing their part in terms of intensity and this year the levels dropped several times. In there lies the answer why we are conceding so many goals, and as i v said a few weeks ago inzaghi will not be the one to pull us out of that hole, he is totally incapable of that, it's the players and their return to fitness, intensity and motivation from last year that we have to wait and hope for.
Season is not over but it can be much worse than this.Players aren't the problem, or the solution should I say, our bench is shit. It's his all out attack approach that has been killing us defensively. That being said, I still don't think our season is over.
