Its worrying that the team seemingly wasnt prepared for the Rube wing play at all. Conceicao and Yildiz were molesting our flanks and even Weah, who is trash, had a good game.

How did Inzaghi not prepare for this? Blows my mind tbh.

Hopefully this is a wakeup call, because if they treat the opponents wings in a similar way against Arsenal then Saka will have an absolute field day.

Wakeup call should have been after disaster vs beelan. We are just not good enough this season.

Did this fucking guy really say the problem is we could’ve scored eight goals? Holy shit we are done.

INZAGHI is in the wrong, he is stubborn and his subs always bring the team into shatters.
but dont forget we made 0 spending in crucial area's in the team. we paid for players like a gk and frattesi
and 2 free agents. we still lack the potential to close deals even free ones.

Inzaghi surely has his fault for our collapsed defense, but wanting to sack him is just ridiculous. We made almost zero investment on players who can at least rotate with our starters, meanwhile our guys are getting older or dead tired/injured. If you want to have a proper plan B, then at least give him more proper players on the bench. Other teams made significant improvements while we didn't spend shit (expect some unproven backup ones who will probably not be ready for this season).

And if you guys still want to sack him, then who the fuck will replace him? Any decent coach will ask for spending money on useful players which Oaktree won't approve because of their weird criteria.

Anw, it's clear that our squad won't be enough to compete in all the competitions, so we better drop the Coppa and Supercoppa, or just player backup and youngsters there.

As long as we keep pace with Napoli, I don't think it's already time to panic. 4 points difference is still manageable.

I know our guys will work on the defence and slowly become the team they can be.

Its so obvious that we lack proper bench. We are mostly losing points in second half, after Limone sub some of our starters.

Min. 70 with Inter leading 4-2 in a derby. Just check where 2 of our 3 cbs are on the field. This team simply has no regard for defense and no sense of self preservation

Good point. Back 3 formations are usually susceptible to strong wingers, but somehow we made it work.

Yesterday was an exception.

I've ridiculed both Real Madrid and Bayern recently for conceding stoppage time equalizers in transition, which is the sort of thing that has no business happening. (Madrid nearly had it happen again against Celta and narrowly got away with it). This wasn't stoppage time, in fact we were on the front foot at this moment in time, but I do agree with the broad point here. Heavy counter press to try and retain possession is one thing, but you're pointing out that De Vrij and Bastoni are not just advanced (that's one thing), it's that they're both practically right on top of each other, both on the sideline. There's just not much reason to be using that much aggression in that situation, another goal for us would've been nice but with a two-goal margin we didn't need it.

I appreciate Inzaghi's allowance for fluidity, but as with all things there is a need for stability and structure, at least in certain moments. No excuse for giving up transition goals in a situation like this, let alone two.

This. We just need to stay in touching distance, and wait out the honeymoon period in this marriage of Conte & ADL. Knowing their personalities, there is a potential "imploding point" in January, specially if Napoli's form takes a bit of a tumble before that

Midfield has a role to play in this (and controlling the game at points like this) but the CBs being so high up the pitch - pressing instead of getting back in position - is Inzaghi-ball. Its what he does.
Barella/Mkhi are moving positions cos of no Hakan so i'm not convinced the score would have been the same had we had our first team out there - e.g. Acerbi/Hakan.
