I was getting ready for disappointment when the first lineups against Monaco were posted. I was sure Inzaghi was going for a draw.

Then he got out his Uno reverse card and put on a better line up than expected, especially since we'll be playing AC Milan this weekend.

8 games in CL, only 1 goal conceded and made Monaco shit their pants. Even Golovin and Minamino were clueless.

Now he really needs Hakan back and hope for no other injuries. Fun times incoming.

That's what happens if Inzaghi treats a CL game with respect. This season he had been treating them like fucking Conference League fixtures.

I hated it. But in hindsight, it is brilliant. Especially doing it with relative ease against Arsenal who couldn't do jackshit to put us in any sort of real trouble. 😂

It has been a must, so we could have been able to keep up with Napoli and Atalanta (not lately) in the league.

If only we could give this guy 2 good bench options for attack, one working backup RWB and 2 quality central midfielders for the rotation, we'd compete at all fronts and be favorites as well.

There's a quality vacuum at this stage that's up for grabs, and it's saddening that we don't have the capacity to reach for it.

Real Madrid manages to win because no one else can and they'll just win by default.

Bayern's a mess, Barcelona is a mess, City is in turmoil, other PL clubs aside from Liverpool look incompetent, PSG is always looking lost, Atletico is decent but doesn't have the weight to pull such rank and the other Serie A clubs aren't in a good position.

Just give this man what he needs and we'll win not one but several CL titles. It's just there waiting for us and we refuse to look at it in the face...

Someone should tell him you can’t win the league when you fucking stink vs most good teams.

I'm pretty sure he knows that. The team did a lot better last season.

Let us lose if that means we'll invest in some younger players that will inject some pace in our midfield and attack. Well, not just pace, also a technical player wouldn't hurt.

yea, younger players that this guy won't play. Mkhitaryan gonna start for this team until he's 42.

But he prefers fucking oldies. His stubborness is really frustrating.

He shouldn't have started Hakan but apart from that it wasn't his fault attack can't score for shit. It was quite shambolic we were looking for a goal and no forward came from the bench. And for good reason. What could they offer?

Management rarely gets criticised in this forum but they have done a terrible job with recruitments in attack in recent years. This is our worst attacking depth since banter era.

Two games against Milan, and two times in a row that the tie gets drastically changed by a needless giveaway in midfield (Asllani, Hakan). In both games, we absolutely had them before this happened. I don't know how much blame this man can have.

Absolutely you can argue that his subs are ass, but as extensively explained by others, his options are dogshit. I'd argue that we looked much better going forward after the Carlos/Bisseck - Bastoni/Pavard sub, even though I called it an insane move when it happened.

I'd honestly build him a statue for putting up with this management.

I love this guy, honestly. But when we loose this Scudetto to Napoli, after we lost the one to a subpar Milan, that’s on him. 1 Scudetto in 4 years, while you have (by far) the best team in the league is just to little. No matter how you put it.

Only mistake, in retrospect was starting Hakan, in a derby just off of injury. Puzzled by some the subs, but he'll he got them right.

One thing that has always been a bit of an annoying tendency of Inzaghi - going back to his Lazio days - is when he'll sub off one of this best players for some bench dross in the name of freshness or whatever, and then see it come back to bite him at the end. I distinctly remember Lazio losing on a last-minute header by Theo against Milan in Dec. 2020 after he made some really "WTF?" subs.

That he kept Thuram and Lautaro out there for the full 90 is honestly refreshing. Even he couldn't convince himself "well, Arnautovic is dogshit but he's also fresher than either of those guys, so...". Nope. He's dogshit, he doesn't get on the field. Barring injuries or other forced situations, he should never play another meaningful minute in our shirt. Inzaghi knows at least this much if tonight is any indication.

You know shit gets real when Inzaghi complains over refereeing. He's usually very humble and doesn't run away from responsibility aswell. No matter of the results over Milan lately, always proud of him as a coach. We couldn't get any better solution, given our state. He's doing utmost with the very limited resources he has. Give him a couple of new quality additions, and see how Inter's gonna roll in both Serie A and UCL aswell.

A car doesn't run on a thin air. Put petrol on it, and give it gas.

He can get criticized for starting Hakan, but we still looked better than Milan for most of the match. We also know that Inzaghi and our squad have a couple of blind spots and weaknesses - playing against pace obviously one of them. Some people acting like they didn't know that ...is kinda cringe. I felt we were prepared for it, but being prepared sometimes might not be enough. This isn't your first time watching football, you should know that by now.

You could say he can thank Pavard that Milan wasn't 3:0 up, but Maignan should also thank our strikers for having an off day. Maignan should also thank VAR for not existing today.

Just think what a player like Paz or Valverde would bring to our midfield. Inzaghi deserves more!

The season is not over, but even if we don't win the league, I'm proud of them. 15-6-1 while being top4 in CL... And yet some fans are calling them losers and mental midgets. Disgusting. Maybe it's time to say goodbye for a while, because it's hard to be coexisting with fans who don't feel the same way as you and keep attacking their own club and players.

Like Inzaghi Said 3 posts, 3 disallowed goals and a sensational penalty not given.
That sums it up.

Ref is really sus and shit.

We played fine in the first half, but we played into their strength, didn't we mean we looked bad.

He actually adjusted the game play well IMHO, hence the 3 posts. Like this Milan (players &coach) is very equipped to hurt big teams, but they will never be a big team. I don't have the stats, but just from an eye test, the amount of sliding tackle they threw is quite high and frequent, explains one thing is they are constantly marginally being inaccurate in defense position and corridination, so it gets very effective to attack their box, cause the physical part is hard to utilize to recover defensive mistakes in a shorter distance and time.

The other issue with Milan is they can't make plays; they simply cannot create anything not in transition phrases, but we gave them plays (similar to what we did against JuBe when Koopmeiners was out I think), they would struggle more have we played ugly football with huge rotations, but too risky.

Imagine if we have one more striker like what Correa was meant to be, some striker (Baggio, Adriano, pick anyone you like, just one) you expect can create something out of nothing, and with the Esposito brothers instead of Arna or whoever currently have... Ahhh ... Shit I just jizzed
