He always makes at least one questionable decision per game. For example, why didnt he start Correa, a player who performed well at the Coppa against Milan, and is not registered in the CL squad?

Instead he started Lautaro, who just recovered from injury.

I rate Inzaghi but he really is very similar to pep in that they’re over reliant on specific players. It’s been nearly four years. When we do not have one of hakan or barella on the pitch we crumble. Mikhi should have been the one taken off. It’s not like he isn’t going to go the full 90 anyways.
Except Pep actually does have a bench to choose from whereas our bench is just plain dogshit

Maybe he wanted 60mins to Lautaro's legs before the Bayern match.

I don't see how that was the questionable decision.

Maybe the Calha-Asllani was, even though that wasn't the issue in the second half. The general malaise of the teams game was.

Inzaghi needs to rotate, can't just go one match per time, he needs to consider the next match too. The real issue is simply the lack of depth. When too many bench guys out there, we can't do much. For the last 25mins, there were no Toro, no Calha, no Dimarco, no Bastoni (in addition to no Barella and Dumfries). And every missing piece had actually a reason for it, unfortunately.

1 Scudetto within 4 seasons, with a far superiour squad. That’s just pathetic tbh.

Are the circumstances ideal? No. Far from it. But far better than at Bilan, Nipples or Jube. While they are in their (Bilan and Jube) banter era, we won 1 scudetto. Same amount as Bilan. Let that one sink in.

We always seek to be "saving energy" but we never seem to be expending it.

Lol. I said something like this a long time ago for CL. At some point we actually have to go ALL OUT.

But I'm not sure if these players know how to. It seems every game is "conserving energy".

There are just too many games. Seeing how many injuries we are having this season, it worries me.

Especially when Thuram and Lautaro can't play their best football. We'd be winning 4:0 in the first half if those two played like we know they can.

The subs were the ones that fucked us, I'm surprised Pavard didn't feature this game at all? Especially since we were winning.

Put some respect on his name. Now.

Job's not done, but he's doing incredible things, even though he can be frustrating with his decisions sometimes.

He must've been fuming when they got a corner mere seconds after they scored

I still trust Inzaghi, there is something about him and cup competitions

He is one of the very few if not the only manager that is able to so efficiently counter teams playing high press. This 3-5-2 is basically tailored as a hard counter. Most big teams play a sort of 4-2-3-1 high press.
Yesterday was another good example of how well he prepares games tactically.

Best coach for Inter in the modern after 1980s era, I think it's not even debatable anymore. He isn't that great of a mid match tactician, but barely any of them were except for Mourinho

Thats why i put i ve seen there which basically means from like 96 onwards...
I also think he is the coach who got the least support from mgm of all the coaches who managed to win...As in he won the scudetto with a rather low profile squad when compared to mancini and Mou and even zacceroni and cuper had better squads on paper

I just wanna remind pople that we were frustrated with mous subs as well...

Lets win treble first then we can claim something like that.

I love the rollercoaster of posts here.

First people want to sack him for 1/4 Scudetti, despite being top of the league 3 pts clear - and yes I know we have a tougher schedule and more congested program.
Then people want to praise him for winning the CL, despite not winning it of course.
Then others want to sack him because he plays some players over others, regardless of whether or not it's due to injuries or necessary rotation and lack of depth.
Then others want to lock him for a decade because the team plays great football in a few games, inconsistently this season of course.

I don't have to see him win a treble to know that he's the best coach we ever had. Magician on the training pitch.

Mourinho is a master tactician and has great man management, but I don't think Mourinho ever drilled his Inter team like this. And it's not as rigid as Conte was, too, every player has different roles and plays with a certain fluidity that we never saw before. That is why I name him our best coach. That he isn't as good as Mou at the sidelines, that's known.
