I've watched inter football for longer than most here. I have never seen a manager do more with less resources than Inzaghi. On top of that, our football is a pleasure to watch. Not like defensive anti football that we saw a lot of in the past. This season, we are inconsistent yes, but look at the squad and depth he has. Despite the limited resources we are in first place in serie-a cup semifinal and CL quarters. If we had the Moratti era budgets we would rule Europe every season with this management.

Inzaghi is a top manager. He has his shortcomings and outright ridiculous decision making at times but once Pep leaves Man City I can see them coming for him. Better start spending before he bails.

I hope our performance and results attract more investors willing to buy Inter and give Inzaghi the quality players he deserves.

You mean like a sugar daddy? Cause investors buy assets to make profit off of them and they are more likely to be fiscally responsible when it comes to player acquisitions

the ironic thing is, inzaghi has shown basically 0 player management skill when it comes to expensive players. Correa? even Pavard has been fairly mediocre considering the tagline - albeit I think he's had a bit of difficulty settling in, and I do REALLY like him. Frattesi? Not exactly great.

A manager who knows how to operate on a shoestring budget is very different to one who is used to operating on a big budget.

We wont know how. Inzaghi performs with a massive budget until he gets there, and I'm sure he'll be fine, but where Inter has spent money, he's not exactly managed some of those players very well.

With a CL win and another scudetto, he’s probably ahead of Jose, but yeah… let’s calm down— those are no easy feats and they need to be earned on the pitch. I’ll give him the edge over Mancini though. His inter was dominant but in an incredibly weakened serie A.

The sample size is pretty much non-existent to make any meaningful conclusions tbh

edit:

saving everyone the trouble, I watched 20 seconds of it and it's utter trash
(speaking of a video I posted without seeing first, not the one above)

Man, if only Inzaghi had the chance to have Hakimi here...
The club is trying to gift Inzaghi the "new Maicon" and many are complaining...

Inzaghi’s football philosophy relies on complete team synergy (players switching positions, midfielders dropping into defense, defense moving in attack,...). The team operates as a fluid unit, and most of Inter’s players characteristics (with some exceptions) fit into his system. I don’t think Inzaghi's philosophy would work in places with 'high-ego's' (for ex Real, Manure,...).
His success is deeply tied to the current structure at Inter, alongside Marotta and the type of players (character wise) Inter recruit.

inzaghi deserved better that first season, a decent lukaku replacement would have been enough. i hope he stays for a long time and finally gets a decent mercato.

Seeing how some people are saying most of our players are shit, Inzaghi is truly a miracle worker :)

We don't demand a trippleta, we demand our management to give Inzaghi such a good squad we won't need to change anything for the next 3 summers.

Inzaghi is being labelled as a shit coach aswell, because we haven't secured the title yet, and we don't have a +15pts difference to second place.

On a serious note, I really don't understand how people don't appreciate times like this. We've come long way. These days even when we don't keep a clean sheet, it's below our standards let alone dropping points.

We have a very thin squad, and some key players have declined a lot as they got older. Some of them more, some of them less. But it's still incredible job done by Inzaghi to keep this team competitive although he's done errors here and there.

Last season we've pulled incredible numbers and somewhat outplayed ourselves. Expecting same scenario while having your oldies on a worse form and also without any real change is ludicrous. Some people take things for granted, and some of them think that football is a science that everything has to go perfect like robotic system.

Enjoy times like these as long as they last. We have a strong group and a great coach. Next transfer market will show what our club is aiming in a long term.

Look man, you can complain a lot about my horrible pronunciations, but you have to respect I always use a hard-C when pronouncing Italian names. I'm not some Man-see-knee wannabe.
It reminds me of how I used to pronounce "Mancini" when he was playing at Roma, before I figured out that he's Brazilian and it's pronounced differently.
