we could do much better with 35 mil last minute panic buy, and I dont know who he is but Correa wasn't a player in Lazio why would you think he would be here...he would now fit to Lazio or Napoli but in this 3-5-2 formations without wings, thanks but no

Don't have one.
Lol did anyone else saw nice little barbecue players organized between themselves today at appiano. I'm just imagining players going to conte after the last month or so we had and asking him to have a grill and have fun after the training. Nobody would even have balls to do that:lol:

Maybe it's all trivial, I don't know, but for some reason this shit just doesn't sit right with me at this time, especially when you consider last time we had one of those barbecue things is when we celebrated the scuddetto win.

And all of this i m posting here coz it's relevant for this thread imo, as much as I like the dude.

You think they post pictures everytime they have team bbq? That's just nitpicking tbh

Is it really a bad thing? Like when you are stuck at something, dwelling on the problem might not find the solution, and your form might dip even further.
I don't think there is an absolute equation to get out of a tough spot, like even for workout, yea you need to push yourself to the very last, but then you still need to sleep and rest to let the muscle grow.

I guess probably what we are talking about here is whether Simone is overly chilled for this team or not, I guess at least not for now especially his playstyle requires some flair and fluid, high stress and discipline might not bring the best of it. In contrast, Conte's rigid playstyle might benefit from his disciplinary shit, also I don't think a team will be stable or enjoying themselves in a long period (probably ok for 1 or 2 season), but it is definitely gonna backfire in the long run, like imagine being control how you are gonna have sex for more than 2 years..... 🤷‍♂️

I don't think it will dramatically affect our form for better or worst, it just a little bit tone-deaf for my taste, especially right now and especially as i v said coz we did it last time to celebrate our scudetto win. It just rubs me the wrong way, it has that kind of leniency smell in the air that I don't like, that's all...

Juric is a good coach, but unless there’s a top option available that makes us obviously better, there’s no point in replacing Inzaghi. Least because there’s no top coach willing to take this job for the type of wage we can pay. I might regret saying this, but Inzaghi deserves time, another summer transfer window at the very least.

I wouldn't read too much into the timing of this barbecue. I would even go as far as saying this is much appreciated.

The team has a very different dynamic this year. Whilst fatigue and injuries are the main reason behind our dip in form, team morale had been very low lately. There are new doubts on De Vrij and Calha's consistency. Fans were calling Lautaro and Dzeko to bugger off. Barella was called "overrated". Vidal and Vecino are causing unnecessary disruption. Radu's agent was shitting on the club. If we don't manage this disharmony and confidence crisis carefully, it might well turn into a sinkhole.

Not even Goldman Sachs people can put all nighters everyday. Sometimes you just need to give everyone a break and remind each other we're still one team. Klopp doesn't have to be an ass to be successful. Conte @ Tottenham is doing so-so. No one method guarantees success and it's good we have this moment for the team to come together and hopefully end the season on a high note.

I think more than anything it was putting Vecino as a starter and letting him play the entire match....not gettiing results....losing ground in Scudetto race... that has caused this fan flare-up.Talk of giving him the sack is premature IMO. We are however, as a fanbase, probably in Crisis mode .

Vecino didn't play the entire match. He was replaced by Vidal in the 67th minute. The problem was not Vecino playing there. I think he wasn't that bad tbh. The problem is that we have no vice Brozo in the squad. Even Barella gets wasted there. When Brozo is not available the coach has to improvise and the result most likely won't be very encouraging.

So, I can not get the Torino game out of my head. For the life of me, I have been trying to work out whether Inzaghi got too smart for his own good or whether he sincerely thought there were players that needed to be rested.

I would have thought that using the result of the Liverpool game and fielding our strongest eleven was the best way to go to try and build on that momentum.

And then he went and selected Ranocchia and Vecino in the same starting eleven. Even today, his selections in that game absolutely baffle me.

I forgot that he was replaced and did have one decent pass to Dzeko. Sorry. I agree with you, but if you peel back the skin on the onion there's more.

The real problem is that Inter has no depth of any real merit in the midfield, on defense and going forward. It was a problem from day one. The players brought in are lukewarm at best: Dumfries, Hakan have their moments but are not consistent, same can be said for Lautaro and Dzeko. Barella has been off form for 2.5 months but has his hand waving down pat.
Injuries have plagued the squad: Correa is essentially been worthless, Bastoni, Brozovic, Darmian and the our winter transfers have had either untimely injuries or arrived in the ER.
Additionally execution: Inter's corner kicks are a joke and have been for a while. Set pieces are not much better. No one every breaks or gambles into the box when Dzeko does win a header or hold up play. At times it looks like Inter is playing "Zone offense ".
Lastly, lack of speed and I'm not talking in a pharmaceutical sense, but that has been apparent for years.

Inzaghi has some to answer for during the down turn but not all. Some rest on the players, while others unfortunately, rest in the fiscal area which hamper mgmt.

We had the same problem in the Cambiasso and post-Cambiasso era. But we had Motta at the time and it worked like a double pivot back then. I still think the quickest solution is to train Calha up for that role. So even if we have to throw Gaglia on to replace Brozo once in a while, Calha could deputise for Brozo even if it'd only work at 60-70% of capacity.

I disagree about using Calha as vice Brozo. He doesn't have the playmaking skills for the position and he's a lot more dangerous close to goal. He would be wasted by playing so deep. No one in the current squad can play Brozovic role in Inzaghi's system. Instead we should just switch to a double pivot in midfield and either use an AM in front of them or play with an attacking trident.

Sensi could fit in Brozo role if we didnt dump him, so now its Vecino or Gags time. Hell unleashed.

What, serie a is not stronger. Milan are weaker than last season and are going to win the league

I'm all for agreeing and have said 100 times top 4 is the target, but when you look at the competition there is no reason not to win the title. Especially when you look at the advantage we had, to then go on a run of 1 win in 6 games is disgraceful
I dont agree with serie a being better last year. Juve was extremely bad last season with pirlo theyre way better now, napoli with spaletti are way better too, milan are also better this year with tonali and leao upping their level and magnan better than donna and giroud instead of grandpa ibra. Calhanoglu was not the player he is with us today

There are not many players in the world that can play that role on that level, so it's alway going to be an issue. But as you said instead of changing player we should switch a system a bit without Brozo.

the only term to cover brozo is to play
with a rb/lb + ML and MR
so dambriso + darmian for defense
and persici and gosen for midfield

which seems impossible sine inzaghi only plays 3412 or 352 and rarely 433
