Seems like the easiest way to earn money these days is to be hired by Palermo, Milan or Real Madrid.

Few months of stressful life, and then years of getting paid millions by doing nothing.

I would not be surprised if we saw him coaching here in the not too distant future

I would. I think he burned more bridges with us than Leonardo did at milan.

Yeah won't be surprising at all. He's good though. A balled coach. His Milan has played some pretty good football this season. Demands on him have been too high imo. This Milan squad is not good enough for a CL spot.

I wouldn't mind him as our coach at all. A much better choice than Martinez, De Boer.

Come to think of it, it's really to difficult to predict who'll be approached by Inter. No consistency at all except for the occasional manager of the month.

I don't know how I would feel if he returned to Inter in the future. Not because he coached Milan, just because I'm not entirely convinced of his overall competence as a manager. He may have done fine in Sampdoria and Catania, but his work at Fiorentina was just underwhelming, really disappointing stuff. I know it was a long time ago, but his first gig as a manager was at Bologna, it didn't go well and the team got immediately better once he left. Not sure how it all went with the Serbian NT.

Anyway, if we're looking for a manager and he's unemployed, newspapers will link him to us, that's guaranteed.

His spell at Sampdoria and Catania should be enough to earn him a shot here really. Allegri did well at Cagliari before joining Milan where he had a good quality squad. I'm hopeful for the same regarding Mihajlovic too.

mihajlovic really isnt as bad as FIF is making him sound. i dont necessarily want him here but hes done a very decent job at milan and he was solid at catania and samp. milan's first choice 442 actually looks pretty solid. his system and coaching is making abate, zapata, montolivo, kucka, antonelli all look very decent. he's also given a lot of faith to niang and donnarumma, along with romagnoli, and he's turned around their mentality. he stumbled at the beginning of the season while being forced to play a 4312 on berlusconi's orders. i dont think milan have been underperforming at all this season.

anyways, at the end of the day i want to see a real selection process based on the technical qualities we're looking for. "big name manager" "winner" "not experienced" "not on the up" are all meaningless things to look for.

That's his personal choice and he didn't have a place in our club at that time.

You can't blame him for wanting to become a better manager.
And he still had an extra month of paid holiday thanks to that senile berlusconi lol

Even before going to Milan, I would never think of this guy as an Inter legend (not sure if that's what the poster was implying).

I wasn't even hurt by him going there because I don't feel he did much for Inter, and only really played here at the end of his career. I do get people are disappointed based on what he said, but I never bought that anyway. If he said that about Lazio, where he probably had the best time in his career, I'd get it, but he was hardly relevant here.
