South America might lose 5th spot to WC

Because of Boca fans FIFA is using it as an excuse to steal our qualifying spot. Fine half our teams can qualify to the WC but let us loose it the right way by playing and not some bs two asshole fans ruined it for a whole continent.

That's what I mentioned in another forum. South America only have 10 teams should have only 3 direct spots and then 2 play off games

1 against North America who they want to give our spot to and one against Europe. Seriously the Costa Rica thing was a fluke if they really think giving them more spots is going to make the WC better they are crazy.

Or 2-3 teams per confederation qualify to a playoff system to qualify. This is probably unfair as Europe and SA would win all of them. African teams get to the big dance and only ask for bonuses. Asia and concacaf only have 2 strong teams that will qualify directly. Less fair but a strong less predictable WC.

Would be sick to see Colombia/Uruguay v France/Portugal to get to Russia or Qatar. Tho taking spots from one of the strongest regions to give it to a weaker region with less money and smaller population doesn't make much sense.

well I completely agree, I juust don't talk about this because people can get the wrong impression.


I think wc is more with political/strategical decision than pure meritocracy.

More money then Chile, Colombia or Uruguay.

I think FIFA really really wants Canada to qualify it's the only thing that makes sense. Mexico next time around will stop fing around sending their U20 to win games and will qualify first. U.S. Is always going to qualify both teams have better shots to make it then any of country on earth.
