That 'vs' in the thread title is triggering me.

a draw will be great considering the ongoing circus.

How optimistic.
For me, losing 1-0 without displaying shitshow and showing a glimpse of how professional football club should operate is already more than enough.

Nothing is preventing us from calling them. Playing them on the other hand would cause us to lose the match by 3-0 cause of the whole ineligible player thing.

You know what's also good for squad unity? Having a manageable size of a squad, not 5 players, of similar level vying for the fullback positions, not 4 players for a CM/DM position, not 6 players for 3 forward positions. There's a thin line between competitiveness for spots and a dysfunctional unit of cunts.

Well said. Jovetic and Perisic were benched most of the time this season, while D'Ambrosio and Nagatomo got to play because reasons. Anyone remember Maicon and Il capitano? But this is what he have now...

Vecchi, what a tactical genius. If we are getting spanked we will put one of these guys on to automatically lose this game 3-0. :notbad:

I heard that in addition to the regular rumoured line-up, the Gazetta will have a rumoured 'Bench"-up as well every week from now on. In which they guess who will be our coach every week... #DareToInter #ZampariniWho? #fuckthisshit

Would be a good marketing ploy. Who is coaching Inter this week? Tune in to find out.

Here I am with my good ol optimism again

From what I've seen of Vecchi before, with our youth, I can honestly say that I have confidence in his strategic capabilities, at least relative to De Boer's strategies (Sacking debate aside, I was absolutely not impressed with many of De Boer's decisions this season). The real question for me is whether or not our players will actually perform with any consistency/motivation, which I hope they will. There is no question as to whether or not the talent is there on our roster, I just wonder what team will show up tomorrow...

there should be like a bachelorette tv show where coaches try to seduce our players into playing for them

Vecchi should be sacked just because he consideres Ranocchia and Nagatomo together as starters... :palm:

I think we will win, idk why it makes no sense. Anyways this vecchi guy knows the players and I saw the youth a bit they weren't bad atleast last year so maybe if he does well these two matches we should let him stay. I know its risky

Stefano Vecchi in his first press conference as Inter interim coach

The players:
“For me the situation is a bit special, because I know the first team since we practice on adjacent fields. My staff has good knowledge about the first team since every now and then we train some guy from the first team. To prepare for a match like this under conditions like this has put a lot of pressure on us. I haven’t been able to call home yet.”

Goodbye De Boer:
“I feel for sorry for De Boer. Our relationship was really good, unfortunately these things happen in football. I would like to thank Suning, President Thohir and Ausilio for this opportunity they have offered me.”

Future coach of Inter:
“We have to live in the present, which right now is the game against Southampton. We have to be really prepared, this game can decide our future path.”

Formation:
“I will prepare the team for this game as good as I can relying on players that have the strength to help the team get out of this difficult period. I will try to play safely in order to make things easy, having three or four concepts that the players can take with them.”

Pre-match tension:
“Having so little time to prepare for this game I haven’t slept as much as I usually do. Those hours I’ve spent trying to pick up some tactical aspects of Southampton. But when I sleep, I sleep well (laughing).”

Tactical settings:
“We will also try to play our game, if we are forced to defend we will defend to 110%.”

About the players:
“The players have great qualities, now they have to find their own resources in order to prove themselves.”

Mourning in the house of Thohir:
“The president gets condolences from everybody, we will play with black armbands.”
