Miranda is strong in 1v1 but very sloppy in some zone defense situations.
He is our best CB after the treble era and can simply suit in that squad.
It is the combination that matters. Our next coach should focus on cb rotation I guess?
I agree that Miranda + Murillo is at their ceiling as suggested by posts of sempreinter.
Our midfield is a mess last game, Brozovic and Banega lack understanding with each other in the defensive side,
which exposed our defensive line and made us vulnerable.
Brozovic Banega and Mario should not start together imo.
None of them actually has a proper sense of protecting the defensive line, made Samp's direct passes easy to find attacking players.
Maybe it is the problem of positioning, or simply our team cannot play without a proper DM.
It extended to a problem of our forwards. We played like Moyes's MU last weekend, always have the wingers or fullbacks to cross the ball.
Where's our infiltration in the centre?
When the opponent is stacking at their backfield and have two or more players to defend our attackers,
shouldn't we try some one-two or dribbling through the defends or even have long shots outside instead of crossing the ball on and on?
