What is the commentator smoking? That was never a pen. A bit risky but no pen.

let's start with saying that football is a contact sport, which means that not all the contacts are a foul.

spal player had the chance to do his thing, handa simply tried to cover as much space as possible and only fell on his opponent afterwards.

At least Valero looked more involved in the match. Eriksen had like 5 touches, he should wake the fuck up.

Handa intervened decently. Could be penalty, but he did what he had to. We have to improve a lot at 2nd half and score 1 more at least.

We had 2 good moves in 45 minutes, one was botched the other lead to a goal.

If that penalty went against us I'd be fuming ( even if I gave up on this season ), because in my opinion the ball was dead, it was going out, and Handa was just a bit late, and did not interfere with a goal scoring opportunity.

Don't have one.
Its embarrassing that Sanchez looks better than lautaro. How many times did he fell over the ball. Mind-blowing to me he still tries to get a foul that way when majority of the refs already figured out months ago how easy he falls.

eriksen isnt a possession midfielder, he's there to create opportunities. His long balls have been really good and perfectly placed, his short passes have been at a good mix of tempos.

He's there to decide the speed and intensity (within Inter's current restrictions, lols) we want to attack at. His main focus is to create goalscoring opportunities and offer threat. He's been good at distributing play and creating a number of chances. There's more to come from him, no argument whatsoever, but he's offering good threats so far.

You need to not associate him with a hard working B2B midfielder. He's not Sensi, Broz, Barella, or any of those guys. He's a creative attacking midfielder.

That's a foul if it occurs in open field no question. GKs sometimes get benefit of the doubt in these situations where the shot is going wide of goal. You also see those given as well.

Anyway, we got lazy and stopped pressing until Candreva makes a run at the ball carrier and gets burned before the SPAL player unloads a 40yard pinpoint pass.

Lame first half, lautouro is going down every time and the ref is right to not give him fouls, we are suffering with any team that high press us, and we seem clueless, there was a corner in the first 15 minutes, that we kept passing backwards till Handa!!!!!.
Erikson is far from the rest of midfield, he will not be good in such a position until Conte play with 4-3-1-2.
And Brozovic did not intercept a single play!!

It's clear that a lot of people have never watched Eriksen play before and had unrealistic expectations based on his "brand." He's not going to take the ball and challenge defenders off the dribble. He's not going to run up and down the pitch demanding the ball. He's a facilitator.

It wasn't a shot. The player clearly was attempting to play the ball around the advancing goal keeper, but due to the advancing keeper, foul, and trying to evade the keeper, he took a heavy touch.

Happens quite often. We were lucky not to concede the pk there. If that was Juve - Sass, we'd be screaming cheating. Let's keep it real please.

exactly. he's not vidal, nor sensi, nor kaka... he plays a different role.

we need to up our game speed to give him more chance to express himself

Fun half time fact: Javier Zanetti is the all time leader in tackles + interceptions per game for full-backs at 3.9

Exactly. He uses his position very good. Keeping it effective and simple. We have deep lying posession mf assigned for distribution forward in Brozo. Having both and destructive mf (even Gaglia) makes perfect sense for our mf
