Can't wait for this season. I genuinely think Atletico can challenge for the title this year. They didnt sell anyone important bar Vrsaljko, but bought few great players. look at their probably starting team:

Oblak
Arias - Godin - Gimenez - Lucas
Gelson Martins - Koke - Saul - Lemar
Griezmann - Costa

Adan
Juanfran - Savic - xxx - Filipe Luis
Correa - Rodri - Thomas - Vitolo
Gameiro - Vietto.

Some changes can be done, but even their second team is strong enough for upper table. Looks awesome!

I still think Barcelona walks with the league, Atletico will put out a great fight early on but they might end up focusing on the Champions League just because it's at home, whilst it remains a mystery to see what Real Madrid does. If they get the right players and they click, then I think it'll be a race between them and Barcelona and a Atletico a close 3rd.

I'm more interested in who comes 4th in Spain :D

Yeah, they are biggest favorites to win. But Atletico squad is so god damn strong. Real is a mystery, too many variables there, but you can never count them out.

Hard to see RM improving on 3rd in the league as Atletico has improved considerably

I'm not going to say which one, but I'm going to make a bold prediction that really shouldn't be bold at all but probably is and say that Real Madrid is going to win a trophy this year*.

Whether it's La Liga, La Copa, or the Champions League, I have no clue. But I think they're going to win some kind of silverware this year. To me, this season has a very '17-'18 Barca feel to it for Madrid coming in, losing their talisman and people being underwhelmed. When I look at their squad, on paper mind you, I still see a world class CB pairing, a world class FB pairing, an excellent midfield with depth, and capable players in the attacking phase although Bale obviously has pretty much zero durability unfortunately. This might sound like sacrelige but I never really rated Zidane's tactical acumen as being all that much, although obviously he got results especially in the '16-'17 season. I'm bullish on what Lopetegui can do there. I'm not saying they're going to do what Barca did last year and end up winning a domestic double without breaking a sweat; I'm obviously not going to write some hyperbolic bullshit that could imply them being better without Ronaldo because that's an absurd notion. What the players still there will have the chance to do however is step into larger roles now that Ronaldo is gone; who steps into those roles and how they perform will ultimately dictate how they finish in the three competitions they're playing in.

*And not the Super Cup or the Club World Cup. Jeezus, espcially not the latter. Who could possibly care about that tinpot trophy...

Courtois is such a cunt. That vagina man lost all the respect I had for him. I hope Costa and Griezmann rape him in the super cup. With Costa stamping his leg in the process, "unintentionally".

It took 2 mins after it became official for him to change his biography in Twitter and Instagram into Real Madrid player.

Should he keep it as Chelsea player a few days to pay homage?

He's a snake, thats the point. There is also a vid which is spreading all over Twitter while he was At.Madrid's goalie and was singing Anti-Real Madrid chants and everything. On his arrival to Real Madrid, he kisses the badge already. I mean, he's the definition of a low person. But then again, Real Madrid is a dirty club as well, so shit with shit fits well.

Thats why I wrote what i wrote. When Atletico celebrated the title, he said "Real Madrid are cunts" and he said that he won't even join them.

Now the vagina man is kissing the badge and claiming that was his life long wish  what a guy.

No kidding. I would be so much more willing to give the guy some slack on going to Real, due to the fact that he has family in Madrid and Atletico is obviously not in the market for a goalkeeper at this point, seeing as how they have a better one anyway, but he's going to have to give us all a break on Real being some sort of dream club with the history he had at Atletico prior to that.

Which, by the way, I feel like is something I never saw anyone talk about with de Gea back when him going to Real was such a big deal. Dude not only played at Atleti but was an Atleti academy graduate if I'm not mistaken. Did I totally miss the hub-bub or did that talking point just somehow get glossed over?

Atletico fans are not angry at him signing for Real. They are angry at him kissing the badge at the fucking presentation and him saying Real was his childhood dream. Few years ago he said quite the opposite. He didn't really need to be saying that stuff, just sign and done deal.

I know, and I agree with them completely on that. I've written before here about mercenaries and that they get a bad wrap. Every team needs them, every team employs them. It's fine. As long as they do what they're paid to do that's all that matters. We need more athletes, in every sport, willing to embrace that title (like Zlatan; Zlatan definitely knows he's a mercenary). Courtois wants to play both sides of the Madrid derby in his career, fine. Just don't bullshit everyone about that being a Real player was the career goal when you shit-talked them when you played on the other side.

Cancelo was here for a very short time and his appreciation towards Inter and Spalletti is still there despite that he joined our rivals who are enemies beyond the football pitch. Football needs more players of his character though.

Not so sure that Lemar and Gelson will play intead of Correa and Thomas. At least in the beggining.

Atletico are one of the favourites for CL this season and will also challenge for a title in Spain.

Regarding De Gea I think he was Madrid fun from when he was a child.

Didn't Courtois sleep with De Bruyne's gf some time ago? Dude always seemed slimy and fake.
