The offence was fine, the finishing was the issue. Lukaku's absolutely bottled a clear cut chance, 2 off side goals, 2 twice hitting the posts. That's more then enough clear chances created.
The less said about handa making another howler the better.

To all those who are complaining Lukaku should have passed to Lautaro. The man is in full flow to score goals. He kindof beats a player and in his mind he is 100 % confident of scoring so at the last moment he should be passing to the next guy? It doesnt work like that

Inter Denied Clear Penalty On Lautaro Martinez During Nerazzurri’s Draw At Spezia, Italian Media Argue

Inter were denied a blatant penalty during last night’s frustrating 1-1 draw at Spezia, according to a report in the Italian media today.

The Nerazzurri had to settle for a point at the Stadio Alberto Picco after Ivan Perisic cancelled out Diego Farias’ early opener for the home side.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said referee Daniele Chiffi did not manage the game well, losing sight of several small incidents such as a simulation from Spezia’s Riccardo Marchizza.

However, his biggest mistake came when he awarded nothing after Lautaro Martinez was fouled by Luca Vignali in the Spezia box, having beaten the defender to the ball.

VAR official Paolo Valeri was also criticised for the failure to give Inter a penalty, having failed to call Chiffi over to conduct an on-field review.

Inter also had two goals disallowed for offside on Lautaro and Achraf Hakimi in the second half, but both were correct calls.

Does anyone remember this? I don't recall the incident at all.

I think it must be referring to when we sent in a cross in the second half, prob around 70 minutes. Lautaro got infront of his man and hit the ball and his man also kicked through lautaro leg that was in the air.
Commentators said its not a penalty, I didn't think it was a penalty either. Though in fairness there was one replay of it and it was fairly blocked by players

You should hear croatian comentators when Inter play, its like listening juventino forum members. This guy was so happy that we dropped points against Spezia, fkn Agnelli asslicker.

I really hope we have contingency in place for Handanovic, the guy is an absolute legend but this season has shown it should be his last.. I am sure if he wins a Scudetto he might be happy and move on to a retirement club, Udinese maybe.

Lukaku did miss a clear cut chance, if you base the whole game and score on that though you need to put the apple cartons down, of course we expect him to score them though.

I remember the toro incident, when I first saw it I didn't think much of it, never thought enough about it to mention it either.

Spezia one shot all game and they score... just our luck, the shot was awful too, even more heartbreaking.

All in all, after tonight 10 points clear 6 games to go, I am not concerned over this result.

The results of the Player Ratings are in! Handanovic and Lukaku tank inevitably after their worring performance. On the flipside, Perisic picks up his first MOTM of the season. What a remontada it has been for him!

Before I continue, Sawyer has asked me if there was a place where all the ratings could be easily looked at. Well, one place is the Player Ratings section of this forum... but I also keep it on my own PC. The file of last season and this season is 2,74 gig though, so that's kinda big.

Where do you think is the best place I could post this if you guys wanted easy acces?
