Do you count the goal that got Reggina knocked out of Coppa Italia to be Cruz's goal??? The one where Cruz hit the post and the ball bounce off the keeper's back into the net.

It's apalling to see a player in the callibre of Helveg or Cruz playing more than Van Der Meyde!!!

OMG! JZ is amazing, man.How does he stay so consistent for so long? And Cruz scored most of his goals int he first two months he came here, after which, he was, invisible..

Which is why I have always refused the idea of getting Ze Maria or whoever is suggested to be Javier Zanetti's back-up. Why bother buying a back-up for a player who is never injured and tired??? Il Capitani puts the motherf*cking Energizer bunny into shame!!! :strong:

6 of Cruz's goal were scored in November & December. 5 of his assists were during that 2 months too. Cruz is nothing but a 2 month wonder!!! :scream:

The idea of having a back up for Zanetti is that he`ll get to play in Zanetti`s position when our superman has to take care of someone else`s position. You see this season, everytime Helveg got to play was when Zanetti played on the left flank or in the centre. If we had had a good back up for the right wb position, we wouldn`t have had to see Helveg that much.

No, not really. He started against Marseille, he sucked. Many more example. The first Milan Derby I think. The second Perugia game. Heaps more!!!

Whatever u say about Cruz he has done his job and more...He brought in the numbers true more towards the begining of the year but for someone like me who had no expectations at all i was really impressed.
I believe if he played more consistently he might of been better in those last matches but the pressure might have caught up to him too...
The thing is if u see how he played when he was really good,saw his passes,his touches his free kicks and assissts and goals u would know that such form isnt a fluke but the bad time he went into later on is..Every striker can get into a dip of form especially if he is the Cruz type and doesnt get much time consistently.
