The only three i see that could do better in the middle of 3 men defence formation atm are Ramos, Van Dijk and Koulibaly - actually his skillset is similar to Ramos. There are only a few players that I rate as much as him. I'd also say he is better in his position than Bastoni and Skriniar at their, which can only be the highest praise

Koulibaly would be terrible in this role. He'd probably excel on the right hand side of a 3 man defense though.

I cannot understand this thing. His current salary is that 4.5m€ so I don't get it why isn't he demanding a payraise as he'd be totally deserving it (let alone his agent is none other than Mino Raiola). Still wondering there is just some error in these reports by Schira.

How so? There's been no mention of 9.5m anywhere. Only figure I've seen is 4.5m. Yesterday and then few months earlier when Schira (or someone else) reported it (and I found it odd that time too, thought it was a mistake).

Well you know, if no one talk about a defender, it actually means he play great. his positioning and read of play is really good.

I think maldini or someone said if a defender make a tackle, he was actually already made a mistake (probably in positioning) which forced him to make a tackle. We did not see lots of great tackle from Vrij because his positioning is really god that he can cut of the ball early and good in air duels too.
