During last season there were rumours we already have an agreement with Raiola for his extension. Not sure if it's still valid though. I can't imagine we won't make a move to extend his contract. It would be incredibly stupid.

We have the best defence in Serie A, with the profits made this season there is no reason to think we won't extend, I am sure it is all under way as we discuss it and an agreement will be announced in due time. One thing I will tell you is that Raiola is the biggest C U Next Tuesday going in the agents field.

He will want paid a fair salary in comparison with Bosstoni and SkrinGod, and rightfully so, a lot of people and I don't disagree with them say he is our best defender now.

This so much. De Vrij was never seen as a wordclass defender in Holland, because he's not someone who is always in the media. Just a humble guy who does his job excellent. Glad there is finally a coach in Holland who sees it as it is: De Vrij in this form is one of the best CB of Europe. Happy he finally gets the praise he deserves in Holland.
