I don’t think he was that shit what people here make him to be? No where near Rano’s ”peak” performances… but sure he had his worst season with us!

I have a feeling he has made up his mind that he will run down his contract and go bosman next summer? Like he did at Lazio and how many Raiola players these recent years have done… it’s their ”playbook”

He get good money at Inter and nobody is willing to pay fee + match his current wages!

For 15 million… I rather keep him and make him the new Rano.

Just on lower wages

He's not that bad but even in his top form he was underrated, so don't expect any big contract atm.

And he's not that old as well. With new contract and less distraction, he'll likely gain his form back.
As a back up I think he would be great. He is just a luxury we can’t afford when we’re talking about selling Bastoni.

He's honestly not worth much. He's a declining defender with one year left on his contract. 10M is my guess.

Yes. The factors you've mentioned plus our general inability to sell leaves me pessimistic that we'll get anything decent for him - or even sell him to begin with.

That said, if I try extremely hard to be positive, I guess one could argue he's a defender in his prime in a market where many large clubs are looking for CB's. On top of that he's an established international and Scudooto winner with plenty of experience and somewhat of a name. His salary expectations and transfer fee are not large by any means and coming off a weak season, he represents an opportunity for buyers looking to revive him.

That said, the minimum we should be getting is €15m.

An article I read this morning mentioned 8 million which is definitely too low.

However, when our owners are begging for money, I am pretty sure that if Luton Town offered Inter £1.50, that the Zhangs would accept it because there is no such thing as an offer that is too low.

Yeah. If it's 10m or lower better keep him as a bench option and let him go on a free next summer. Not worth selling him.
yeah I'm for this option. as long as he isn't the starter next season, I'm okay with him going for free

Who knows, maybe even he'll rediscover form now that he needs a new contract?

And leave on a Bosman next summer, since the club won't bother to extend him.

Raiola promised Inter at least 25 million if he's sold right? If Raiola's agency can't uphold that promise, it means that there's no serious interest by any club for him. 8 million is not even worthy to talk about.

Chelsea are making a move for Internazionale and Netherlands centre-back Stefan de Vrij, according to reports coming out of Italy.

Chelsea are in need of defensive reinforcements this summer with both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen leaving the club for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona – though the latter’s move is yet to be confirmed.

Regardless, it is clear that Chelsea need fresh legs at centre-back, especially with Thiago Silva now 38 years of age and Thomas Tuchel persisting with a three-back formation, which of course requires an extra central defender.

The main name linked with a Stamford Bridge switch this summer has, much like 2021, been Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.

Now though, as mentioned above, reports have also credited Chelsea with an interest in Stefan de Vrij.

De Vrij, now 30, joined Inter Milan on a free transfer from Lazio back in 2018.

The stopper has since enjoyed a fruitful career in Milan, making 165 appearances, scoring eight goals, providing seven assists and, of course, winning the Serie A in 2020/21 under Antonio Conte.

Let's hope this is real

This sounds nice but we really can't afford to do that
