I thought he was going to do his ACL or something when he jumped to celebrate
Are you a troll? I think you need to read my post again. So you're suggesting that we rely on injury-prone Sensi as injury-prone Sanchez's back-up?
I was replying to the post before yours. Are you a troll? I think you need to read my post again.
I'll give you a hint: the answer to your question is in the last sentence of my post. The crucial word is "midfield".
I agree even though he might be able to play 30/45 min per game and stays fit, I guess. It's not so much, but it will be enough to relief the burden from our primary midfielders. Then, we can ship him out somewhere in the summer.Guys, we can't get carried away with that goal. The perfect scenario would be him playing the next 2-3 games with having some assists and goals or just with some decent performances and then we really should sell him. I don't trust his injury-prone body and maybe some desperate team would pay like 10-15 millions for him.
Is our loan offer to Samp a done deal? Oh well maybe Sensi will fail his medical (whether for real or just conveniently) so he'll end up staying.
If he's okay with being the no.1 backup forever, as in never starting a game or playing more than 30 mins, I'm cool with that. Better have him around than Vecino. I mean if this is how he can stay fit and remains 100% available, why not? The issue is he didn't pick up injures during game time. He often injures himself at home and during training. So until we figure out what the issue is, we shouldn't actively destroy our relationship with Samp and cancel our offer last minute.
