Clearly the club want to know more about Correa's injury before releasing Sensi. We are doomed if we rely on 3 players (Lautaro, Dzeko and Sanchez) for 2 positions and this is assuming Sanchez keep fit.

Honestly Sensi was pretty good in the first game of the season where he played behind Dzeko. He will be a valuable backup for striker position

If he stays, Sensi may end up being our new Christian Eriksen (and I mean this in the sense of making a difference to our season in the last six months).

Having him available (and that's a very big if) is akin to having a new weapon in midfield unlike any other in our armoury.

When he is fit, Sensi adds to our midfield in the same way that a fit Alexis adds to our attack.

So you're suggesting that we rely on injury-prone Sensi as injury-prone Sanchez's back-up?

Are you a troll? I think you need to read my post again.

I'll give you a hint: the answer to your question is in the last sentence of my post. The crucial word is "midfield".

I was replying to the post before yours.

EDIT: But I might as well give my opinion on what you wrote as well. I think that Sensi can't be relied on to consistently add to our midfield either. It's not that he doesn't have the potential, but the only multi-game run of good form he had was about two years ago. Maybe it is mental like a fear of getting hurt that people keep suggesting. Regardless, from what I've seen I am not hopeful -- at this point I think the glimpse of him before the injuries was an anomaly, and he just can't maintain that level.

Watch him stay and get injured again after playing some more minutes! The team needs another forward and another midfielder. We can't compete in 3 competitions with 3 forwards and a poor bench.

I hope he decides to stay and forcing Hakan to face some competition for the spot. In the last few matches, we lacked ideas in the final third and would be different if we have an option to play a high self-confidence Sensi for upcoming matches. I believe Sensi has something to offer for changing the face of our attacking play by his linking-up playing ability. Hope Inzaghi could reassemble him since I, for one, never get tired of waiting the reminiscence of Sensi-Barella Bromance on the field.

Guys, we can't get carried away with that goal. The perfect scenario would be him playing the next 2-3 games with having some assists and goals or just with some decent performances and then we really should sell him. I don't trust his injury-prone body and maybe some desperate team would pay like 10-15 millions for him.

How was he with injuries prior to coming here?
Poor as well but nowhere near the last two seasons. I think on average he was missing up to half a season but had a couple of full seasons under his belt too

We know he can be a baller, but we can't wait for him to magically become healthy. I believe his time at Inter has ended except if Correa is dead for the rest of the season and we can't get another midfielder or striker on loan.

Yeah though it's not optimal if Sensi is our "4th forward" is Correa is out for long.

But I guess that's the most convenient way for the management as we don't have to negotiate with anyone and pay fees or any shit like that. And first and foremost find a proper replacement for Correa.

I agree even though he might be able to play 30/45 min per game and stays fit, I guess. It's not so much, but it will be enough to relief the burden from our primary midfielders. Then, we can ship him out somewhere in the summer.

How's the guy even meant to get fit and stronger if you consistently pick donks ahead of him?

I'd not be so quick to give up on a potentially top midfielder. I noticed Barella was much more comfortable and happy playing with him too. Top players recognise top players when they see them.

Sensi doesn’t need to stay healthy for the rest of the season. If he remains injury free for at least two months - to ride out the congested schedule, it would suffice.

Is our loan offer to Samp a done deal? Oh well maybe Sensi will fail his medical (whether for real or just conveniently) so he'll end up staying.

If he's okay with being the no.1 backup forever, as in never starting a game or playing more than 30 mins, I'm cool with that. Better have him around than Vecino. I mean if this is how he can stay fit and remains 100% available, why not? The issue is he didn't pick up injures during game time. He often injures himself at home and during training. So until we figure out what the issue is, we shouldn't actively destroy our relationship with Samp and cancel our offer last minute.

I'm not trying to be funny guys but he hasn't played a full 90 min for club since like the 17th of September 2019. I know we all want the romantic story of Eriksen again but let's please remember everytime he plays for more than like 30 minutes he gets injured and misses a month. Eriksen on the other hand was a superfit professional.

Sensi needs to be loaned if we can get a replacement striker for Correa.
