I will be surprised if someone gives more than 1.000€ for Sensi.

These are exactly the types of purchases I hope we continue to make.

In another world, Sensi continues his stellar form while Barella picks up a career-ending injury.

The best young purchases we’ve made have been in that 15-30 price range (Kovacic, Brozovic, Skriniar, Barella, Bastoni, Dumfries)

Sensi was showing all signs of being another successful buy until he got injured in that Juve game.

this guy should have never even be redeemed. If only Inter dind't want to be such a nice guy and do this retarded gentlemens agreement.... Sorry, but the player needs to perform on high level for at least 80% of the season to be worth 30M.

It was probably more than just a "gentlemen's agreement", it was almost certainly a "loan + obligation" in disguise because those affect books and FFP differently than "loan + option" does. Which means, yeah, they could've theoretically not redeemed Sensi, but they would've burned relations with Sassuolo badly in the process.

Exactly. We even redeemed Politano who was entirely useless to Conte.

Politano was an obligation / gentlemen agreement obligation. We got rid of Politano pretty nicely without getting burnt.

No thanks

The club is way too broke to be spending this much money on a player that lacks so much in terms of physical attributes. Barella was always better than sensi and even if he got injured would always continue to be better than sensi.

Sensi had a few good games against teams that weren’t good and this defines his legacy more than the 4+ years he's been here and done fuck all for us.

When all is said and done the club would have paid 40 million euros in transfer fee + wages for a dude who had 7 good games for us.

I knew I was right to vote 1 when we signed him...

Yet somehow he found a way to be worse than crap, shit and useless. Given the situation we are in now, he truly is one of the worst signings in club history.

Us being a team that honours its word is how we were able to sign Frattesi.

Speaking in a press conference via Di Marzio, Maresca was asked about Leicester’s interest in Sensi.
“When you are strong and you can get stronger, it’s better. The only thing I can say about Sensi is that he’s a player I know very well and he’s the kind of player we really like.
“But as I said already, unfortunately in this moment we aren’t allowed to do something. We need to sell in case we want to do something. Because the transfer window is open, we’re going to see. It can happen that we aren’t going to have any players out or in.”

He touched on the cash-strapped nature at the club currently.
“The only thing I know is that we can’t spend money. We aren’t allowed. Probably the reason why is because of relegation and in the last two or three years the club has had some bad losses.
“When you get relegated, it’s always difficult. It’s not only because you need to rebuild and because the economic situation is not easy, even if we gave away 10 or 15 players last summer.”
These guys seem more broke than Inter, but they will most probably promote to the Premier League.

I think that they are preparing a transfer for free + potential bonuses (payable next season for instance).

So what exactly does the fact that clubs all over the world can get him for pretty much free but don’t want him tell you?

You know better? The dude is supposed to be in his prime

Idk what it tells you, hes injury prone, but hes hands down better than classan and many other midfielders out there
