To be fair that is what was happening but usually to people who run a pump and dump on penny stocks and they make a couple of 100ks on it if even...
Now that there is a president wh loves fraud and looks at the victims as idiots i think that is gone. Although the big guys very rarely go punished and crypto guys even less...
